  1. You don't want your fluid too cold, it doesn't behave properly. They make these fluids to behave in a certain way in a certain temperature range. Outside the range and they don't work properly. I run mine through both the radiator and the cooler in the front drivers side air dam.
  2. Turn up together get parked together is the rule although if we can get around it for you we will.
  3. The weather WILL NOT TURN SOUR! That's fine Ruckus.
  4. I spotted MC 033 I think, a very tidy dark silver series 2 R33 in Evatt. A nice white R33 with chromies, look like cragars or something old school like, in Latham. In fact I spotted shitloads of lines. They're everywhere down here.
  5. Will be good to see. That boost drop would explain the flat top end. Any idea why it's dropping off like that?
  6. Very good. Have you got a pic of the turbo before you put it on. I'm interested to see the physical size of the exhaust housing. This fits with my theory that an R34 turbo highflowed should make more than an R33 one done the same way. Compressor sides are the same all round but bigger exhaust housing picks up serious gains.
  7. That's what we are trying to work out. I think so.
  8. settle.
  9. I was doing some logging of data with a consult cable connected to my laptop. What I noticed was that I was hitting 5.1V quite easily high in the rev range and accelerating but that this had no effect on the power delivery of the car. I intend to log it again on a dyno and overlay the data at some stage to see if power keeps increasing with the AFM maxed out. A japanese tuner told me that R34's don't need z32 AFM's but due to language problems, even though he was nice enough to explain it to me, I couldn't quite understand why. I am now thinking that perhaps the R34 usees both the MAP and the AFM. Maybe above a certain RPM at full throttle only it switches to the MAP. This would explain his opinion on Z32 AFM's for R34's and also why we get no big drama from maxing out the AFM. But... I presume that Nissan didn't intend the AFM to max out. They gave it more than enough head room for it's stock application. So why would they bother? Maybe they just preferred it in WOT conditions. What do people think?
  10. Yep dinner was good. Hope everybody enjoyed themselves.
  11. 666Dan and myself are working on a theory and I think the rest of SAU might be able to help us out. To my knowledge, when an R33 GTST hits the limit of it's air flow meter it is a harsh thing. As in, boost boost boost bang! No power. Can someone please confirm this before I make any more of a fool of myself?
  12. You can probably be my pit crew jas.

  15. Ok guys it's 2 and a half weeks till the show and shine and we have NO classics entered yet. I think we will get Nathan's Prince but come on guys!!!! Where is the DR's and the HR's. I know you're out there. They're not all off the road. We need the older lines for variety. Best classic gets several hundered $ worth of Gulf Western Oil which is brand new very high quality stuff. Supposed to be better than Motul 300v Chrono. Best *30 gets $150 voucher from GCG Turbochargers. If we only get entry for each you're a winner!!!!
  16. Woo hoo, back up to 10.5!!!oneoeneoneoeneonenepoopn1111o1non1ononononnoeno1eno1neo1neo1neon1oen1oen1 en1oen1oneo1ne1oen1oen1one1oneo1neo1neo1neo1neo1no1neon1eo1neon1oen1oen1oneo1n1e
  17. Well that brings us down to 10 flat which is what I booked for in the first place.
  18. No, too much power in one set of hands. Power goes to people's heads, it needs to be spread around. The Governor General is the Executive. He is nothing more than a figurehead. The courts should make law and moderate law too. The problem is that the Government appoints the Judges and they always appoint the people who agree with them most. Just look at the NSW Court of Appeal right now. It is mainly chance whether you win or not based on which judges get appointed to your case. Decisions are made on policy grounds rather than sound judicial reasoning. Both sides of parliament are as bad as the other.
  19. I haven't been told of any limit to spectator cars. As long as i have the names about a week before hand that is fine.
  20. Should be cheaper to tune than anything else if it works as advertised.
  21. Ooh. Sounds interesting.
  22. Fatz you nong. It's July 17. Bekky - there is every point in bringing that car. We want the full variety of Skylines.
  23. I don't think heavy duty timing would be necessary at that power level but if it's not much more $ then do it. Coil packs - might as well then. Radiator - getting the stock one refurbished may be a lot cheaper and will be like new. I'd Get a heater core from a wreck too, but that's just me. Replace your thermostat and radiator hoses while your at no matter which way you go. I've heard of turbo failure doing this on RB26's only and even then it's so rare that people known for vast amounts of experience haven't seen it and think it's impossible. I heard - through these forums - of it twice, both on RB26. I don't know enough about R33 brakes to advise you there. Try the Suspension and Braking forum on here. Mmm, Nismo 1.5way would be nice. I want one. SAU NSW members get 10% off at GCG $1950 list price minus 10% = $1755. Up to you.
