It seems to me that the only proof people here will accept is: 1. Dyno car. 2. Do the manifolds. 3. Dyno the car again. 4. Overlay the two runs. 5. Post it up. I would personally have no problem with a retune of whatever engine management you have in between 2 and 3 but some might. Some pertinent before/after temperature measurements might be helpful but difficult to provide.

Basically this day is a social event. It's an excuse to polish up your car and show it off along with a bunch of likeminded people. IT IS NOT AUTOSALON! We don't care if you have stone chips on your bonnet. Just get it clean and bring it. There will be lots of swapping of stories and advice given from people a little further down the mod path than you. You might be surprised to find that people will just come up and talk to you about your car and give you free tips. Stuff like, "Oh see how your car is like that. If you do this it fixes that problem." You say, "I was wondering how to fix that. I didn't think it would be so easy." At the moment we have more prizes than entries so get entering people.

You have to change a bunch of stuff to fit that turbo. Manifold, dump, etc. Fuel pump needs to be changed definitely with turbo change but possibly before then depending on what you are doing. You wouldn't want to push anymore than about 190-200rwkw without changing the fuel pump. Shonen is going for the biggest turbo known to man. It will be henceforth known as the Shonen Potato. Which TD-05 is it? 8cm or 10cm wheel?

It will help a little but ultimately at that kind of power level it doesn't take much for something to go, be it pistons valves or whatever. If you are one of those people who has that much power for bragging rights and rarely uses it then you may enjoy higher power for years but personally I can't see any point in having a powerful car if you are not going to use it properly.

My R34 holds whatever gear I put it in. Downsides; on decellaration changes down into 2nd at 90 rather than 120; If you accidently change up 2 gears instead of one it takes a second before it will change back again.. Upsides; wont change gears without being told to unless coming to an almost complete stop; is quicker off the line; is great in Shitney taffic. Bad - blows up with too much power, good - costs about as much as a really good clutch to rebuild nice and tough.

Yes the ole 31 looks a lot better than the $160 would suggest.

Do some reading on the forums to decide which boost controller you would prefer. Most of them will pretty much do the job. You should get around 180-200 rwkw but it depends how much boost you are going to run.
