I got Proengines in Queanbeyan to rebuild mine. They do all their own machining etc. Car is still strong 2 years later and I thrash it, not to mention fiddle with the tune to make it ping by accident.
We're just designing new ones atm and I heard yours were cool. Actually I said, I want it sort of like this, that and the other and someone said, "so just like the SAU Qld ones?" Doh.
I'm going to a party tomorrow night dressed as a commando. Looking to borrow a camo jacket from someone if at all possible.
It wont be a massive drunken lose your clothes affair so no issues on that side of things.
BTW I'm 6'5" so not too small please.
If anyone has anything it would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
Now just gotta find a big gun...
I had a bit of a look through it and it seems to me they are writing this legislation from two angles. They are giving great discretion to police officers and they are making it sound very scary - Anyone like to have their pride and joy wheel clamped on Parramatta road for 3 months? It would be gone or stripped in 3 days, maybe 3 hours.
On the other side though there appears to be some room for Magistrates and Judges to take certain factors into consideration which they often don't do these days. What this means is that the cops can and will go hard at us but the courts have the ability to help if we are genuinely wrongly accused.
I'd be interested to hear what insurance companies would say about their coverage of a vehicle wheel clamped by the side of the road for months on end.
Roof not required. Skid pan is dry. You know you don't have to hang the back end out the whole time Merli. It's certainly not the quickest way round the course.
It always had potential but no one bothered with it because Trust give shithouse support for it. If CRD have worked it out then I think it should be fine. The PFC was a cheap and effective solution but it's far from perfect.
There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that they are trying to discourage these days as much as possible. You should see some of the other ridiculous rules they have.
Good 60' and ET Joe. MPH is lower than I expected. Definitely more in it with some practice. Sorry I could be there for coaching.
The SAU Drag Day is on Sunday 16 March and a couple of spots have come up for grabs. We were going to keep this for members only but since it appears no more members are interested I am offering it to forum members.
Cost is $210 for a full day of racing. Please pm me for details as time is of the essence in getting our payment into WSID.
Thanks Hills.
Thanks to all the other execs and helpers.
Thanks everyone for a well behaved and brilliant day. Awesome stuff. Sorry I didn't bring my car. I didn't come from home to be there so was on the bike. Should have dyno'd that I suppose. 1200cc might not be much in a car but in a bike...
