  1. Quite a few people have done this mod and found it to be worthwhile.
  2. Cool, when are we going to see it?
  3. Thanks Roy. It does spike and that's partially why I was interested to know if this could be the reason. Also it spiked on Sunday to 0.92 bar which resulted in a blown turbo. It already has a rubber mount but I had exactly the same idea as you with a an alluminium bracket. So I wont need more wire if I rewire through the passenger side of the car? I might as well do all this while I'm replacing the turbo. I had hoped to have it out already but there is a bastard alan key bolt holding my dump pipe on to the turbo.
  4. Thanks mate. May do but going to give it a good go before admitting defeat.
  5. Nah I need it scanned so I get the proportions perfect for printing out. I want to print it onto a clear sticker then paint the fuse box and stick it on.
  6. I think it's R33 GTST fronts and R33 GTR rears. It could be the other way round but I think that's right. Eric I'm taking my stockies off in a few weeks if that's any help to you.
  7. Should be able to get them a few dollars cheaper than that but that;s what I use. Forget about cross drilled. There is a thread here somewhere about RDA rotors which are cheaper and appear to work just as well as the DBA ones but I haven't tried them myself.
  8. You don't pressure wash skyline engine bays. (I don't mean you obviously) I wouldn't be surprised that it all starts working normally when the water has all evapourated from the nooks and crannys where they sprayed it. What a dickhead move.
  9. Boost spiked at 0.92 bar coming down the straight near redline about 190km/h. Just heard a pfft accompanied by a squeak and lost all boost. I've got it up on bricks in the garage now. Struggling with a bizzare alan key bolt holding the dump pipe on. Good to meet you Jase and also Tim. Hope you all had fun out there. Did you kick some s2000 butt Mark?
  10. Wow yours is perfect Shonen. Have you got a scanner? If so can you scan it high res for me? If not can I borrow it to scan. My plan is to switch them for a few days till I can scan it then switch back like it never happened . Unless you are around today or monday??? I'm not sure where you live. sending pm...
  11. Got boost - Thanks, I should have been more specific. I know the fuel filter. ronin - boost gauge sensor sounds right. SKYL9 - I think it does but I didn't install it. I think I may fix it when someone tells me what's what from my first post.
  12. I work there, live in Kensington.
  13. Could you do me a small favour? My fuse box is missing some of it's stuff and I was thinking about painting it anyway. Can someone who has an intact fuse box cover please scan it for me?
  14. While I'm at it. What is the thing is the first pic here? It is connected to the thing in the second pic, which looks like some sort of a filter.
  15. My AVCR solenoid is mounted behind the drivers side wheel arch and it's loud and annoying. Also I've been told that the length of hose running makes it slower to react. Pic one is where it's mounted. Pic two is the pair of tubes running all the way around the engine. Pic three is I think the t-piece where the boost controller taps in, so to speak. Can I safely cut the wires shown in pic one and run longer ones around the other side of the engine? What spec wire should I use if this is ok? (I always get confused at Jaycar, there is too much wire to choose from.) Do people think this is worthwhile from a response perspective or am I only doing this to get the noise further away from me?
  16. I have used the buttons from day one, on the street and the track about 15 times. I've had the car for a year and a half and it's running fine. I have about 190 odd rwkw.
  17. I think I spotted Bleach1 on alison road today.
  18. Thanks Siks.
  19. I heard it was 82 to 86 degrees. Very fussy person said this, relating to my car.
  20. Thanks mate.
  21. There is another thread, could be in the ACT section, of people going.
  22. We will :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
  23. That's interesting Terry. I didn't know that could happen. And 0.85 bar is 12.5 psi.
  24. I will bring the jack no problems mate. I also agree with your post about people pulling out. It doesn't look like they were that keen anyway. I see that Richard is battling with SBS but is pulling through admirably. Well done mate.
