  1. What are you guys calling redline? Do you go there often? Has anyone done this with a NEO?
  2. That's how I met you Mark.
  3. Sounds like one of the bands isn't grabbing anymore. I'm not sure if they break or just slip badly. Did this happen gradually or all of a sudden? They are pretty much the same transmission from R31 to R34 so an aut transmission place should be able to help you without too much expense.
  4. Someone more au fait than me with searching techniques should write a little article or sticky thread so we get less posts like "Do a search it's been covered before". I mean until this thread what if I wanted to search for PFC on a NEO engine with a Z32 AFM?!?!?!?!
  5. To confirm I've just tried this and it only works if you put the * after the 3 letter word. Ie; Z32*
  6. I've got some 235/40/17 semi slicks, we could make two sets for a rwd skyline. pm sent.
  7. There is an issue with the forum and Prank is looking into it.
  8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=25735 This car has: 209.5kW 96 Series 2 Engine management - Stock ECU Boost ran - 12psi Turbo - HKS 2540 Fuel used - BP Ultimate Stock all other internals. 9. Car definitely heats up more gripping than drifting. I have an oil temp gauge and have tried both. Also I have an auto so I can tell you that you don't have to pop your clutch to get sideways.
  10. It's probably not hanging around anymore since it was stolen 3 years ago.
  11. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH the cruise was in 2002
  12. I've noticed all these old threads being dug up. Then I noticed that some threads mostly last post around April 2002 were popping up in the New posts search.
  13. Yeah I know and I'm looking forward to it. When I booked a few days ago I was number 8
  14. Perhaps John did this to a car with a stock computer and exhaust to show what his plenum can do. It looks more like an exercise for demonstration rather than a "hey do this mod first" thing. I'm sure he is going to post a before and after Dynograph for us to ogle. If he hasn't got them already it would be worth his while to do so if it proves him right.
  15. Saturday? I'm there on Sunday.

  17. I've got one that I always bring.
  18. There is a thread asking this exact question from about 6 months ago. Bonnet is different. Bar is wider than the car so has to be bent back in causing a little bulge on either side of it just behind the headlights and making it go back a bit too far into the wheel arch. ps. I've still got that turbo, getting closer...closer...closer. Need 8 days in the week.
  19. Ok you are running 1 bar and over on a stock turbo. I think you are experiencing compressor surge and you are going to blow your turbo any day now. Solution - turn the boost down.
  20. Is that the track day that I went to at Oran Park Mark? If so I would like to get a copy. Also, when do you need those rims by, this weekend some time?
  21. You buy or borrow some Halogen ones and keep the Xenons at home. You do not have to destroy or export them. Any workshop that says you do is trying to stiff you. After your car is complianced and on the road, what you do with the xenons is up to you. There is a user on here called Drifft or something like that who posted up info on this quite recently.
  22. More info required: What boost are you running? Have a FMIC? Stock turbo? Is it hesitating or stuttering at all? Where in the rev range does this surging happen?
  23. I decided it would be a plenty easy job to replace the stuffed lifters in my old 308. I forgot to soak them in oil first, and second I read the book where it says to torque the bolts holding the rocker gear in a particular sequence which I ignored. Started it back up and farted and ticked away like a bitch. Took all the bits off and did the torquing properly which only helped a little bit. It took a month of driving it around before it regained its original power.
  24. Grand Touring Sports (for sure) Grand Touring Race (this one I'm not as sure about)
