  1. Oh and in case anyone cares, I'm definitely going. So see you all there. If anyone from here sees me (White R34 4 door) come and say hello.
  2. I got mine for $200 from a large motorbike shop but I've heard as low as $150. Just make sure it's up to the Australian Standards (stickers on the back). I would just think of the largest motorbike shop near enough to you cos they should have the volume to get a good price.
  3. SR stands for Slightly Racey.
  4. When you say radiator was cleaned out; how? Full tank off service or just a flush? If just a flush you could dislodged some stuff and blocked a few tubes which doesn't matter too much for general driving but might after a while.
  5. Nasty? Poster of R31 sideways action eh?
  6. Umm, you should be aware that the reason you are not getting much of a response here is because Skylines rarely do wheel bearings. I thought I had done one once but it turned out that I had just stuffed my rotor and all it needed was machining to fix it. I swear it felt and sounded just like a wheel bearing but it wasn't.
  7. Fatz has an RB26 in his R31 coupe. RB25 would be the cheaper option and I can think of a few people who have done that. Try: http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php
  8. They have nylon (plastic) on the compressor side and ceramic on the exhaust side. Turbo can handle about 0.85 bar fairly reliably although you could get unlucky. I found the rotors couldn't handle much stick on the track. They warped easily and it wasn't long before I had to replace them all. My car spat the gasket between the turbo and the exhaust manifold and the thermostat was done at one stage. Apart from that I've had no problems.
  9. Why not? If you compress air it gets hot. Compress it more it gets hotter.
  10. I've got a Fujitsubo one which is pretty quiet. I'll try to find out which one it is.
  11. Fatz diagnosed the squealing as the wear markers so I figured I should change the fron pads at some stage. Now I was going to post this as a bit of a joke but a question has occured to me. It seems by looking at this pad, or what's left of it, that my brakes are braking unevenly. They must be braking harder towards the outside of the disc than on the inside. Is this a problem? Should I be worried?
  12. Don't hold back Mat
  13. I will be using a proper metal primer so no paint sticking problems as long as I've sanded it properly.
  14. So Amadea, what did the parts cost you? Where did you get them? Was it hard to get stuff? Use R34 box or R33? What's your shoe size? Where were you on the night of the 17th?
  15. General RTA cameras all around there too.
  16. Ok I just opened my eyes and found out it was due to rain.
  17. Why? Is it worthwhile ordinary people entering? I only run 13.8.
  18. Ok I'm doing it then.
  19. Spotted ECL - Eric on George street Chinatown. an hour or so ago.
  20. Someone has 4 semis of the abovementioned size for sale super cheap with reasonable meat still on them.
  21. I've got the same issue at the moment actually but I haven't yet tried to fix it.
  22. not happening. Nor for the previous Oran Park day. I guess we just need to find some front ones then Fatz. What are we trying to match?
  23. Yup, I will find the facts to back myself up shortly.
  24. Which GT-RS is that? ie what flange? suit RB25 or RB26/SR20?
