  1. Maybe you could try gripping Fatz??
  2. There was a Tepanyaki late last year. But anyway... blah blah blah. The fact is that parking in Manly is shit. Anyone who says otherwise is dreaming and I'll fight yas all. The other fact is that the food is better quality there. But there is a poll with Lane Cove in front. Let the poll speak for the final call. Of course there is still quite some time to go and by the time the dinner rocks around the poll could be 54 to 68 the other way round. It's a crazy mixed up world out there and you'd be mad not to arm yourself with a flame thrower no matter where you ended up going for dinner.
  3. Not only that but they flow less than R33 injectors. Are you still using the NA injectors Dan?
  4. My thoughts exactly.
  5. You got a better price than me you bastard! Where? And so even though you cut up your front bar support it still hangs down? As far as mine?
  6. I've always been a fan of black wheels on white car. It's gotta be done right though and here it is.
  7. Hmm this has got me interested. White cam covers in white R34. What do yas all reckon?
  8. I used to run 0.85 bar but now only 0.8 bar with the chipped ECU. Basically you swap your ECU with their one for a fee. Mine was the first to get done so I got a good deal. You will have to ring them for a price. I think I picked up something like 27 rwkw with the abovementioned slightly less boost. What you are describing is completely normal. The extra airflow causes the ECU to retard the ignition and richen up the fuel supply causing a dip in power. I guess once you get over a certain revs it assumes the engine can swallow all that air so it gives it what it needs in ignition and fuel again.
  9. Me like. Was thinking about doing the same thing for my track wheels. Give us details on how you did it, what kind of paint etc.
  10. I hear it's something to do with a firewall SAU has.
  11. You wont get the dip you are describing until you up the boost. Exhaust and intake will get you about 15-30 rwkw I think. I got my exhaust from Japan. The car will run rich with these mods and use a lot of fuel but a dyno tune will not fix that. I got a lot better fuel consumption when I fitted an FMIC. Powerplay in Sydney did me a chipped ECU which gave me lots more power and got rid of the dip for good.
  12. That's a pretty good price.
  13. Turbosmart do a Fuel Cut Defender too.
  14. I understand the above however my gf is at a corporate domain in sydney and has a banned IP address.
  15. I like it cos it uses the original holes for the pipework. You get no extra power from installing an aftermarket intercooler in an R34 but it allows you to run more boost more safely. Also I had some surge issues which it solved. There is a little loss in responsiveness because of the length of the piping but I prefer to have the option of returning the car to stock at some later stage if I want to.
  16. Spotted Shonen driving past my house yesterday arvo.
  17. We all went there one time. It was ok but exe. Can we get consensus on Lane Cove, I haven't been there yet? What are it's prices like?
  18. Furthe update. A track day is what it took to get rid of the rear squealing. It's 95% gone now. Also I have just changed the front pads and so now I know what those shims are supposed to look like because they were there on the front brakes. I now know I didn't throw the rear ones out. They just weren't there.
  19. On the front of my car I have 17x8 rims with 235 45 17 tyres giving me a circumference of 2.02m. On the rear I have 17x9 rims with 255 40 17 tyres giving 2m exactly. If I put some 235 40 17 tyres on the front, giving a circumference of 1.95m, will I adversely affect the handling of the car in any way?
  20. The stagea has weight issues though doesn't it? What I mean is, it weighs a lot more than an equivilent Skyline. I don't know about R33's but the R34 sedan weighs only 20kg more than a coupe. This of course doesn't preclude Nissan from putting softer springs in just because they are tuning the sedan to be softer.
  21. Always good to see new faces.
  22. Sorry mate. All it is is a few people saying how their IP address is banned and discussing why that might be. Some suggested TPG but my gf works at a corporate in Sydney which I wouldn't expect to be using TPG and she has the same issue.
  23. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=54462 As to headers I guess you're talking about an aftermarket exhaust manifold. Not really necessary unless the new turbo you are going for wont fit the stock manifold. Also I think you mean 180 degree turn on return pipe. The kit I use makes it a little better but unless you want to cut a hole in your bodywork it's a necessary evil.
