  1. I didn't see any shims so if they were there I chucked them out. I have now put the aluminium can thing in and also tried snading the edges off which lasted all of about 5 minutes. **** it. Track day is next weekend anyway.
  2. I think this thread needs updating. A track day fixed mine for good but now I've got new pads on (bendix ultimates again) the squeal is back and worse. New slotted rotors at the same time. I'm just trying to understand Sydneykids post a bit here. The pads came chamfered straight out of the box... Right... down to the garage I go.
  3. Well well well. I have a squealing problem and half of the solutions posted here have already been done. On the back I've got brand new bendix ultimates, brand new DB4000 slotted rotors, I bedded them in by doing braking from 40-0, 60-0, 80-0 an 100-0. The edge is chamfered from the factory. There were no shims there when I pulled them apart. The previous pads were the same and had the same problem until a track day cured them. Is this what it takes??? What's the theory behind it?
  4. Bah! You'll be right!
  5. I reckon FMIC. Is it R32 or 33? Where is the pic?
  6. R33 GTST. It's a fairly well known entity.
  7. I personally can't believe that 172 rwkw can get you from 0 to 100 in under 5 seconds.
  8. I'm going on the 26th of february. Can I just say to everyone here that it's a bit surprising that 30 odd people have emailed me and confirmed yet only about 6 have gone and got their windows tinted so far. I know we have 3 months but I would have thought that was only necessary for about 5 of the 30 odd. What's happening peoples? Don't worry too much about days set aside, call him and book your time.
  9. Add a 2.
  10. B-Man on this forum has some almost new ones for sale.
  11. I love how the comparison is between a 7 to 10 year old car and a brand new (is it even out yet?) car. 1994 Clubsport is how quick? There are also these things called corners which some of us like.
  12. I'll talk to you tomorrow about them ok.
  13. Your car was already lowered when you got it wasn't it? So are you only maybe selling the springs? Are they still on the car? I'm not 100% about them fitting but I'm hopeful.
  14. So does that mean that you need to run 22 psi to get those kind of power figures? I was curious because I expect that would generate more heat than say a GT-RS or GT2835ProS at lower boost but same power.
  15. I've actually seen cops pull people over for it twice in the last year or so. Good work I say.
  16. That seemed to be saying it was only applicable for fines issued from fixed cameras so for other cameras and coppers with LIDAR/RADAR the situation remains the same. Maybe the fines should be changed around like 0-10, 10-20, 20-30 etc. so that people who are speeding a bit and should have known better are separated from people who are just over the limit because they would rather keep an eye on the road than the speedo. Can we also get some publicity out there to the dickheads who see a sign that says speed camera and think that just to be sure they should go 20km/h under the limit. The Harbour tunnel is a case in point even though there is no sign, people regularly slow down to 60 and sometimes 50 southwards for some reason.
  17. How many coats of paint are you talking about? I did two very light coats of the front surface only. It's not like I sprayed right in all the fins or anything.
  18. That's for the set of 4 yes?
  19. I see what your saying. I guess if I was willing to modify the front bar support then I could have pushed it further up but I wasn't keen on that. At some stage I'm going to revisit this project to cut the front bar as I posted earlier. The car has had a full respray in January which is why I didn't get this mod done. I didn't get any tuning done afterwards. I have a chipped ECU but it is as good as stock for this purpose. GT-t's don't seem to gain any power from a FMIC but I certainly gained fuel economy. Very noticeable.
  20. I concede to that option.
  21. You take the pan off the bottom and there it is. Not many bolts and it drops down. Don't forget to drain the fluid first...
  22. Get a second hand one from JustJap or someone like them. Shouldn't cost much.
  23. I just put one size 13 boot sideways across the pedals. My car doesn't need double clutching anyway. It's much better than any of yours.
  24. Does the pro S fit standard manifold and standard dump?
