  1. I thought they only did one version now. Does this mean that they have dropped the 500 hp one?
  2. I bought some rims off him a while ago and didn't get a receipt, now I need it for insurance. I think he sold his skyline to go for a datto of some sort. Anyone know him? Thanks.
  3. I'm not going anywhere called woowich sorry I'll throw my secondary vote in with the meh crowd.
  4. I'll buy them off you mate. Are you coming to the next dinner?
  5. Vision Smash in Artarmon just did mine and they do NRMA I'm pretty sure. Car looks great and Harry really looked after me.
  6. Vision Smash in Artarmon did mine recently and it's pristine.
  7. Thai Orchid has better parking than manly. You know you want it Sewid.
  8. He's given us 3 months. As for anyone new... The group buy has now finished.
  9. The shifts are fairly good but I'm getting a modified valvebody soon (only $300, compare that to a clutch) which should give me sharp as changes. At the moment it changes down into second at about 85 to 90 so my brakes get a work out. On the upchanges 2nd gear takes me over 120 km/h as a comparison. I have to admit that the gulf between 2nd and 3rd can be a killer but the smooth cruising in Sydney traffic makes up for it's shortcomings.
  10. B-Man, If someone says they want the wheels only I will probably be able to do something with you for the semi's. Not too fussed but if it helps, I'll help. I'd love the rims too but I currently own 3 sets of rims and the next set may just send me over the edge!
  11. Are the second ones fully white or white with silver/chrome like around the dish part? If they are all white then maybe get them done black otherwise I wouldn't bother. They don't look any better as it is.
  12. The tinting guy has chosen 17th of February as another day when he can fit a lot of us in so make those calls guys.
  13. I notice "regular Test ‘n’ Tune sessions conducted most Saturday nights". Why don't we have that here? Having street meets nearly every wednesday and more professional meets at other odd times doesn't seem to me to be enough. How many cars do you usually get on a wednesday street meet? I have heard about hour to an hour and a half between runs which may or may not be true but it's enough to discourage me from going. People love cruising on friday and saturday nights so there should be more street meets on these nights to attract the people who might otherwise be tempted to do the wrong thing. Do they have lots of classes so that they can make announcements during the event like, "Habib Jones just made the fastest pass of the day in the 1.5 litre non turbo category. Congratualations Habib." or, "...Mitsubishi Mirage category..." You don't need prizes, just kudos. Just a theory. Needs some input by others.
  14. I did and I thought I replied. Hmm, will check when I get home. Going on past performance I probably have forgotten.
  15. Sounds like water got in somewhere. Should go away after a bit when it has all evapourated.
  16. I think Nissan recommend something like 7.5w40 and by combining two types I got 7.5w35 but that's an R34 so the hot weight might be too thin for an R33 with a few k's under it's belt.
  17. For the money spent it is a reasonable solution. It will work fine with SAFCII.
  18. Motul 300v chrono
  19. I hear you Roy but I fail to understand. I am on cheap shitty old tyres still. Waiting to wear them out before I buy some semislicks. Also still driving stock suspension and the auto .
  20. The AVC-R manual says you can have injector duty cycle OR rpm. So pick which one you'd prefer and wire it up. I've already got a tacho so...
  21. Good to hear. Thanks for the feedback guys.
  22. So if you drive it like a pansy you can get 13.6L/100km and some of you are saying thats economical??? And isn't there a torque difference between an RB25 and an F20C? As for Chryslers, how is a 225 slant better than a 265 hemi? I've been in a Charger with 265 that could spin the wheels with ease in 3rd and 4th gears at speeds well over 100km/h. Admittedly it idled like a plate of jelly.
