  2. Well I think you're right about a replacement ECU or piggyback. You will also need a bigger fuel pump and a regulator and/or a bigger injectors.

  6. I have 190 rwkw and the standard transmission cooler on my 34. It overheated a little once at Wakefield which is a tight track but that was after about 15 laps. Cooled it down and it didn't happen again. Can't see why you would need anymore than that for the street although I should be heading well into the 200's soon and will be thinking about a bigger trannie cooler for the track.
  7. I went from 162 rwkw to 189 rwkw with a remap and nothing else. Oh also I dropped some boost at the same time too.

  10. So can someone please confirm the requirements for these things? Secondary bonnet restraint? Fire extinguisher? Helmet? I presume yes. CAMS licence? What level? Anything else? I think I might have to try one or two of these. How many runs at the hill do you get in a day? What general cost is involved?
  11. When the gearbox changes gears it tells the ecu to drop the timing and/or fuel momentarily so that the power is dropped and the gearbox doesn't suffer on the change. ECU's like PFC and Wolf don't do this so you will probably eventually blow up your box. I have a chipped ECU in my R34 tiptronic.

  19. He's not saying plastic OR ceramic, it's plastic AND ceramic. Ie; The exhaust side (turbine) is ceramic and the impeller side (intake/compressor) is either plastic (late 33 and 34) or something else I dunno that part. A 96 Stagea would have to have the something else impeller and a ceramic turbine.

  24. Different braking force by the calipers. You'd be surprised how different they can be if you get a braking test done. I wouldn't worry too much unless it's pulling your hands. You could go to any place that does rego checks and ask for a readout of a braking test. It'll take them about 5 minutes and if you think that they have to do one for a rego check and a rego check costs $27 they can't really charge you much.
