I think there were about 200 turbo XE falcons made in conjunction with some racing team. I'm no good at Ford stuff. I got chopped in Canberra by a guy with a Datto 1600 with SR20DET. He slowed down to let me catch up then did 3rd gear fishies away from me. He had original hubcaps and internal rear louvre. Very stock and original looking. He also told me he had a faster one at home!

I don't know much about prepping the car although it would be good if someone who does would give us all a bit of detail, but I have painted two of my cars. All I can say is, practice on something else first. My first car had about 15 runs mainly along the crease that goes the length of the car (not a skyline) and the second car I did had about 5 smaller runs. It's harder than it looks, but I think if I was more patient it wouldn't have been such a problem.

AFAIK they have to replace all fluids in the car for compliance anyway.

It wont blow up. The problem with the testing is that they very often don't work only intermittantly (spelling ), also the consult will not see a problem even when it is actually happening. I think you need to assume that they all need replacing or fixing because if one or two are stuffed now then another one or two might go soon just when you thought you had fixed it.

Nah, just hiflow the turbo and put some bigger injectors and fuel pump and I should be happy. I'm looking at an r31 or r32 for the other stuff.
