Still most of those things listed are things that shit me off when people do them. Eg double parking or stopping on or near a crossing. People die when the view around crossings are blocked. Also: The 111 fixed speed cameras across NSW issue more speeding tickets and reap more revenue each year than the state's 900 highway patrol officers. Sucked in to anyone who doesn't see the 3 massive signs before each one of these or notice all the ridiculously cautious people suddenly doing 10 km/h under the limit. Don't get me wrong, I'm no angel but some laws exist for good reason.

BTW I've done 85000 kms which I believe to be genuine.

I get this surging at 0.8 bar even. I can feel the power surging. Funny thing is that when it was on the dyno I didn't really notice it and you can't tell from the graph but I put that down to the dyno run being in 3rd gear(auto) and the surge happens more in second gear. 1st gear is so quick it doesn't have time to surge. I am thinking it might be something to do with the wastegate actuator not being strong enough or something at higher boost.

Spotted BLK SKY last night on Gore Hill Fwy, gave him a beep and a wave but not returned. Also just then spotted a silver r32 GTR on Elizabeth Street in the City. Can't remember the plates.

Just get a receipt for every fill up and write the odo on the back of each one. Then you can put them all in a spreadheet when you have a few and work out the L/100km.

I can't believe you're talking like that Driver. Take it to Steve or someone over there who knows what they're doing and get them to fix it. Sure, it might cost you a few hunji but imagine how many months of pleasure you will be missing out on if you don't drive or drive it like it is now until you go os. Also write down you kms and litres and get some figures for how many Litres per 100kms your car is doing. That will help you figure out what is normal and what is not. I thought mine was broken but it turns out is was just my lead foot. (I am a compulsive fanger)

If it is small (say 10cm x 30cm) then it's the transmission fluid cooler, If you are talking about the big one, that for airconditioning.

What I don't get is why Nissan put it on if it's so bad.

I've never pulled apart a viscous LSD so I don't know about a searate fluid but I put Redline Lightweight Shockproof in my diff which is technically a gear box fluid and I can report a definite improvement.

Ok here is two pictures. The red circles are where I had to modify. The middle one is because once the guide was on I couldn't get a finger under the latch to open it. The one on the right is not the same as the bit on the far left as it should have been but that's no big deal, I just cut it off with a hacksaw. The pic of the bonnet is self explanatory really. The rubber flaps are held on with a bit of metal and so when you add the bit of rubber attached to the bonnet to the metal holding it on to the rubber that normally hangs down but can't because of the air guide it's all about 2cm thick.
