Sorry. Didn't mean to intrude in that way, I was just commenting generally on the paranoia associated with this subject. I wouldn't have been speeding except for we just came out of some hills and saw Mt Ruapehu so I got all excited and put my foot down a bit more. I would only have been going that speed for about 400m when I got busted. Goddammit!

What do they do to you if you don't pay them?

Hey all, After driving around here without a ticket since November 2002 I was over in New Zealand about a week or so ago and managed to get myself a ticket for 130 in 100 zone I think it was. NZ$170. What do you think will happen if I don't pay it?

I've been to Wagga before. I didn't think anyone there knew what it was but they stared.

Well if it was me I'd do exactly that. If it's facts only then it's not slander so no I would not like to be slandered but if I'd done something wrong and it's published than that's not slander. I have a small business of my own. I don't advertise and I turn away more work than I take because I do things right. People come to me because of my reputation. That's what businesses have to remember when they are doing dodgy work. I can be quite tardy an I tell people this when I take their job but communication is what it's all about. As long as I let people know what's going on there are no problems. If you take 11 weeks to not build an engine what are you doing? (That's not directed at you R31Nismoid)

I am keeping my foot flat when this happens so not letting the pressure off. I wouldn't think that it would collapse then come good again several times without letting the boost off.

I have a Nismo panel filter that is very black. How do I go about cleaning it? Someone said dip it in metho. Is that right?

I have an AVC-R and standard turbo. Recently I got a chipped standard ECU which brings my power on nice and smoothly so i decided to have a little play at higher boost. I have had it tuned to 0.85 bar which is fine but I put it up to 1 bar and it surges. Everything else seems to go well but I can hear the turbo going "wheee ooooh wheeee ooohh" Why is this? I haven't adjusted the boost duty cos I have no idea what it is or how to. Perhaps someone could explain this too. Basically I was thinking of having a high boost setting that can be used for say a quick 1st gear, 2nd gear run then back off. I have the standard intercooler at the moment though so maybe I should hold off on that. I have been using Roil recently which makes my turbo a fair bit quieter I presume due to better lubrication. Would this keep it cooler (ie safer) or is it the compressing of air that creates the turbo killing heat? Thanks guys.
