  1. Why would Shell do that? She's got her own beast to feed.
  2. :headspin: I reckon. I think Blitz wants to sleep in his car.
  3. Yeah I used to own an HG Brougham. It's what they had before Statesmans. Walnut dash and door trim, electric windows, 307 Chevy but the dreaded Traumatic gearbox. 4000 rpm at 100km/h! First gear felt like you were driving something with 5000 hp it was so easy to spin.
  4. So that's about 6 or 7 now? Hey Pro_32 how many of us do you need to feel comfortable ?
  5. Me too so we'll be right. I'm just saying I aint driving anywhere for it. Oh and I just measured my piece of string; it's 198 cms long.
  6. Ah I noticed it had a flappy thing but I thought it was broken. The isn't one on the other side.
  7. It came on just after a big slow drift. Ie lotsa revs and wheel speed not much forward movement.
  8. Ok I've got a weird one. Who know wtf this is? The main boot pic it to try and show where it is but you can't see it from that one cos it's down in that gap.
  9. I'll be there just to keep the spectrum wide.
  10. A little light on my dash came on tonight for the first time. A/T was all it said. It went off after about a minute. I have an r34 and it's an auto. Any ideas?
  11. As long as there is a pub within stumbling distance I'm happy.
  12. I used to live in Canberra and the trick I found (and let me tell you my first few cars were pretty dodgy numbers) is to go through wih as many things wrong as you can so once they've got a good list going they hopefully wont look too much further. I went without a fuel filler cap once and they got so excited about that they missed half the other things I thought they would get. The most bizarre thing once was they said I had to get a clamp on the brake booster hose so i didn't slip off. I tried for half an hour to get the thing off and couldn't. Had to take it off at the other end and slide a clamp on that way. Oh, sending my sister in to do it helped sometimes too!
  13. Yeah I saw that somewhere too. Wasn't it vic rego or something?
  14. Speaking of Audi's. When I was in Melbourne I was behind one (6 somethingerother turbo or two) coming around a slow give way style corner; it looked hot so I decided to get in front to have a look. Gave it everything I had just to get even at about 90km/h, looked to my right and there's this late 40's maybe 50 year old woman driving it while doing her hair in the mirror!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. New car + tt kit = - warranty Anyone from Mt Isa on here? Or been there recently. I haven't been there for a while but when I was there I noticed that people didn't do up 5-10-15 year old cars, they bought them new and sent them straight to the painter, engine rebuilder upholsterer etc. Sorry doesn't fit in the 33 thread but follows the trend. I agree though which is why I got something different.
  16. I'm wrong all the time!
  17. And I spelled it wrong too!
  18. What makes you think it "drops sparky"? It just closes the valve completely starving the engine of air and probably cuts the fuel at the same time. If you cut spark it would backfire when you gave it back. At it's most basic it just cuts power so you can get traction back and if you keep your foot down then it will spin the wheels again, thus restarting the whole process.
  19. Get someone to photochop it for you. That's what I did with mine.
  20. From a non expert's pov. It looks good. I'd like to see the shape of the end tanks though.
  21. And does this mean that I can run higher boost than my non nylon friends safely or do the previous comments about a few laps of the track still stand?
  22. Do you mean the bit I've labeled 1. ?? By the way (don't laugh) is the bit I've labeled 2 my pleneum?
  23. Stip it! Yiu'rw making mw laugh tii hard...
  24. I still think it's the TCS.
  25. I wish mine would do that. I've got nothing off the line.
