  1. Because my R33 GTR doesn't need oil to run. Because I'm 15 and I know nobody gives a **** what I say. Because I am the Son Of Sam. Just because.
  2. It looks like more people own 4 doors than r34 GTR's but am I the only one with a 4 door r34?
  3. You definitely need a horn to pass a pink slip sorry mate.
  4. but your best will be sitting there going, "f&ck that was fun!" Watch out for dickheads people. There are even more of them out there than usual‼
  5. I think I know what you're on about Loz, I got pulled over and they just started firing questions at me. I answered a few then I said, "What's going on? Why did you pull me over?" to which the reply was, "Pull your ****in head in boxhead. This is a random breath test. You ever heard of one of those?" It was at this point that the other cop standing behind him pulls a breath tester from behind his back. One of my best mates is a copper and even he admits that at least 60% of them are wankers. Thing is though, that's not 100% and us being smart arses to the good ones is likely to turn them into arseholes if they cop enough of it. What would you do if every customer/client/whatever gave you shit just for doing your job? My theory is that my next root could be related to the next person I bump into so I'd better be nice. Has positive side effects this one.
  6. What's annoying is driving in Sydney traffic and pushing your foot on the clutch 500 times for a 10km journey. I've just gone from a manual SSS to a tiptronic GT-t and I'm fine with that. Have you got a tiptronic?
  7. I beat one in my GT-t but you have to get the gear changes right to do it. For instance from 1st to 2nd I hit the button at 5200rpm and it changes at 6200rpm (although it's going through the revs so quick it's hard to be accurate with that). That was stock v stock.
  8. Ok I used to do this for a living. No comment on if they are painted over with clear coat (good luck). Yes a hair dryer lightly to pull newer ones off but if they keep breaking, and the older they are the smaller the bits they will break into, you need a blade. you can usually get a pack of different blades from a $2 shop or a hardware shop. You use them like a paint scraper. You'll be left with bits of glue which you use prepsol to remove with a rag. It's sort of easy and hard at the same time. Easy to do but easy to **** up. Just take it slow and you probably wont put a single nick in your paintwork, the only problem you'll have is that the paint underneath will be a little lighter in colour.
  9. Good call man.
  10. I haven't even taken the orange sticker off yet. Loz, your mate with the 180 beat me 3 out of 4 runs godammit! I think the longer wheelbase made it too hard to chuck the yooie at the bottom. Either that or I'm just crap. Yeah prolly the latter.
  11. I'm more worried about sound waves bouncing off each other in the boot before they get to the cabin making the sound muddier. One of the first things I learnt about sound (and like I said my knowledge is not car audio) is not to put speakers in corners. You can tell what I mean if you go home and move your speakers into the corners of your room with some volume. Walk around the room and move your head up and down and you'll notice that there are far more spots with strange things going on like dead spots and woofy vibrating bass areas (bad explanation I know). Basically in some areas you are getting phase cancellation and in others the waves are actually amplifying each other but because the waves for each frequency are different lengths different frequencies will be affected in different parts of the room. I don't know if the corner of a boot is that much of an issue because the only sound reflecting material in there is the boot lid itself but I guess I would need to hear a setup like that or at least have it described to me in detail to understand. Maybe the lower frequencies will be stronger in that setup because the waves have further to travel before they get to your ears??? Then again I suppose that's what an eq is for.
  12. I'd be keen to hear how you go. Are you putting them in yourself? Would you need a wheel alignment after putting them in with a lower ride height do you think?
  13. Dude, I love skylines too (that's why I own one) but have you been regurgitating your reality pills again?
  14. You're a champion Sydneykid.
  15. Yeah that was great fun, thanks very much for the effort. Fatz, you've got the skills man. I think you've done this before! Pity everyone was too tired to hit the pub after. My head is burned.
  16. It's easier to remember plates than cars I think. I saw HOZONE on the weekend and then just after that I saw a better white 33 in the eastern distributer but can't remember the plates.
  17. I'm delirious. Order taken for 13 r32 GTR's and I'll grab another 30 while I'm there in case any one else wants one.
  18. Whoops, you busted me. I was gonna tell you all that I have an r33 GTR with no oil in it and I'm getting a couple of R32 GTR's to use as pot plant holders but you have just pointed out the fact that I have an R34. A friend of mine lives in Samoa where the 32 GTR's grow wild and says he will sell them to me for $5 each if I can arrange transport.
  19. It's important that you all know that I don't like 33's one bit. Somebody tell me if I've gone too far. I'm delirious.
  20. I don't like the 32's either.
  21. I think it's important that this thread gets longer.
  22. Personally I'm a wannabe whore who hangs to the left. Quite biased really.
