  1. It doesn't seem like they are serious enough to reply to anybody.
  2. No probs mate. I asked, a long time ago, an extremely well thought of workshop about highflows and was told that I would never get over 220rwkw. Well I made 228rwkw on 13psi through the auto my car used to have. The sad fact is that it is extremely rare for a workshop to be totally honest with everybody. There might not actually be one in existence. On the other side of the coin, people on here are sometimes prone to exaggeration and shit talking. Unfortunately, each person has to take it all in and decide what to make of it themselves. Hey, it's part of the fun and the challenge of modifying a car.
  3. Is Nismoid trying to sell you something? No. Look at the motivations before you believe everything you hear. I have a highflow GCG turbo on my car. The highest it has made is 272rwkw on a dyno dynamics dyno. It made 257 at Autosalon on the Mainline dyno after I had fiddled with it. Last retune to fix my fiddling was 262rwkw, again on a dyno dynamics dyno. It does 11mph at the strip and weighs about 1600kg.
  4. Please forgive my noobness but these are only necessary for GTR/4wd yes?
  5. Mine was custom made by Jim for what it's worth.
  6. http://www.bmwclubnsw.asn.au/Downloads/200...ss%20System.pdf Says no slicks but I think that's only for cars entering their championship. I don't think it matters for casual entrants. I'm going to enter.
  7. I've got a chipped auto ecu that is tuned for my GCG highflow and 480cc injectors that I'm not using any more.
  8. Could well be. I might be looking at the smaller diameter hoses first if I were you. Time to go have a look and eliminate this possibility for a start I think.
  9. It will work but is not ideal.
  10. Split hose. Open the bonnet and stick your head right in there to find it by ear. Often they are split underneath where you can't see it and also being rubber they can split but without pressure they pull closed so you can't see the split. You may have to pull practically every hose off and inspect each end properly to find it.
  11. It's probably the actuator but check that your bov isn't leaking first.
  12. I would swap a known good set of coilpacks as your first port of call. If borrowed for free then it's a no money test which may just fix the hesitation and lumpy idle but probably not the high idle.
  13. It shouldn't do that. There's something wrong with your tune Wil. The amount of fuel put in is based on the airflow. Less boost, less air, less fuel. I had 189 knock the other day on the Wisemans cruise. 30 is nothing. Above 60 on more than an isolated occasion is cause for slight concern. Less than that is nothing. BTW, knock values are the subject of a bit of debate, this is only my opinion. Obviously Wil is a big softy and I am a massive hard arse.
  14. Email sent.
  15. It's ugly and they handle like shit. If you're lucky you will even be getting the model with the live rear end! Ooh yeah.
  16. Oil cooler behind a transmission cooler. My car used to be auto.
  17. Getting them online is the only way now.
  18. I've got the Blitz LM kit on my R34. I'm at work atm so this is the only pic I could find.
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ost&id=7400 The top one is an R34 turbo, the bottom is an R33 turbo.
  20. Check the poll. I think the answer is clear.
  21. I'm wondering if there is a link between this one and the last one that was a fresh import. Someone in the importing game I reckon.
  22. Good to see it shiny. I say your first mod should be to tint all the windows nice and dark.
  23. What's happening at Wakie that weekend? Feel free to msn or pm.
