  1. The insert that was put in for compliance is not glued in properly. They are always lazy. You need to remove it and glue it back in with an expoxy glue. Make sure the flap is down and the breather holes up. To fix the paint all you need to do is polish it.
  2. Bel is good. Take it there and say you just bought it and want a general checkup and service. See what they recommend. I've never heard of them taking anyone for a ride so to speak.
  3. It's all good mate. Rear housing looks to be a decent size so the only restriction will be the compressor housing. We didn't pull anything off so no idea what wheels are in there. 1 bar of boost at 3000rpm now. I forgot to mention that you don't need to change the fpr now or later as long as you get the injectors. I reckon with the cams and injectors you might just hit that 270rwkw and you will be a very happy camper.
  4. Not an option available to us unfortunately. Majority say 8pm so I have made the booking for then.
  5. Nice, it boosts up like our highflows with cams. I could come over after work. I'll send you a pm.
  6. Check it's not your bov leaking first. After that get an HKS adjustable actuator which will fix it.
  7. Well whose to say what's accurate and what's not. I've had variations of 30-40kw within days, each dyno operator telling me their dyno was perfect. What boost are you running atm? Anything else you can tell us about the turbo? See if there is a little plate on it somewhere.
  8. There are guys that come out to you and do it for $100. Someone in Perth should be able to tell you who is local.
  9. Reach into the tank with the palm of your hand facing towards the front of the car. Grab the metal bracket you will find attached to the inside front of the tank. Pull it up to slide it off it's mount. Pump is attached to the bottom of it. Pull the whole thing right out.
  10. I was helping out at the last SAU dyno day driving cars on and off the dyno. Even Daves tripple plate didn't get me although I was warned about it. What's this thread about again? I forget. Yeah, umm, you'll get used to it.
  11. I think some people will want to cruise after and some will want to drink. I'm going to vote 8pm, us drinkers can drink beforehand if we want and after makes no difference.
  12. It's good, and super tender.
  13. I thought that the last time I went but the beef is actually really good. I was quite surprised. The problem is with getting a large group, once it gets over about 20 places start making demands unless they are already more expensive and thus prepared or very large places which have other downsides. I tried to make the poll public so we could ignore those votes made by non attendees but I can't see how to do it. Please only vote if you are definitely coming.
  14. Ok one more thing I forgot to mention. Choices are 6pm start but gotta be out by 8pm or 8pm start. I'm going to try to make a poll.
  15. Ok everyone I've just got word from the Hogs Breath that they require a $5 per person deposit to take the group booking. They also want us to choose a set menu. We had 3 choices so I chose the middle priced one and I've attached this menu below. It's $34.50 so I think everyone might as well deposit this into my account and then on the night all you have to pay for is your drinks. The last dinner I booked cost me $150 because of people pulling out so this will separate the serious from the not so serious. I'm now going to pm everyone on the list with my bank account details. Deadline for deposits is Tuesday 23 October. _34.50_Party_Menu_1.pdf
  16. Usually park in the council parking station across the road from the cop shop. Never had any problems there before.
  17. I got the type b (stage 2) 260/260 poncams in my GTT and I didn't lose any power anywhere in the rev range. Just gained mid and top end.
  18. What are your current rear alignment settings?
  19. I can't imagine a second hand one will cost much. I reckon they would be just about throwing them away. Labour will cost a few $ though.
  20. So you're making 270rwkw with stock injectors and stock FPR? Surely that's impossible. What turbo is it? What MPH did you get at the drags if you've been?
  21. Yeah definitely bigger injectors in there with that turbo. As mentioned you need to get the brake discs machined. Front ones more likely but do you feel the shudder through the car or through the steering wheel and car? You may have a broken gearbox or engine mount. Get that checked out. Yes it's a big turbo so it will be laggy. You can take the cam gear covers off and check if you have adjustable cam gears in there. If you do you can use them with a retune to bring boost on earlier, if not you can have them installed. You sound like a sensible guy so I wont harp on the be careful comments but one thing I would suggest is that you do a skid pan day of some sort. The club will be holding another Texikhana early in the new year but there are others around fairly regularly. Also, yes take it to the drags. You might get a high 12 on street tyres. Go a few times with street rubber then consider getting some drag radials for some better times. Post up when you are going and you will probably get a few others coming along so you can meet some like minded and helpful people. We're all pretty much here to help each other out. Lastly, you will need to find a workshop that suits you. Whereabouts do you live?
  22. YEah they know.
  23. And so endeth the thread. Sorry guys but the whore threads were killed for a reason. They breed bad social behavior. Nothing bad here yet but it's only a matter of time.
