I use a cooling pro radiator. It has 2 problems, both of which I'm pretty they have fixed with the current ones they are selling. The upper mounting posts are in slightly the wrong position and the cap doesn't seal perfectly. As for cooling, it does an absolutely brilliant job. I haven't used the other things you mentioned however I have driven a GTR on the track with a trust oil cooler and stock radiator and it works very well. Much better than my cheapy. I needed the radiator to make up for the not so good oil cooler.

It's slipping. First thing to do is check the level of fluid. It's quite likely lost some and will get better when you top it up. Failing that it's pretty much on it's way out so look forward to replacing it at some stage.

What kind of car is it for? What kind of driving do you do? How much power do you have/are you aiming for?

Doesn't compare to $200 for used RB26 rods. Yes they fit. They bolt straight in, no mods, perfect. The difference in the RB26's is the pistons. The rods are the same length, just thicker and so therefore stronger. I know a GTR that had standard rods with 440awkw or so and when it went it was a spun bearing. Rods were fine.

As long as you are 100% positive the banjo bolts are pointing in the right direction then how can you stuff it up? I just bolted it all back together and started it. I was super careful about the banjo bolts though. I hope you used new copper washers.

Everyone's using Mickey Thompson drag radials these days. Pm 2rismo on these forums as he can get you some good prices. Get some 16" 300zx rims.

1000hp is pointless. Stock R34 GTR turbos have ceramic exhaust wheels afaik which means you go blow them with too much boost. I think a happy medium turbo would be HKS GT-SS with which you can get 300awkw with cams but it will be very responsive and very little lag but the N1's are a good choice too. You will find on reading this site that there are at least a thousand different opinions on what's god and what's not so you need to do a lot of reading and make up your own mind. I could write you a shopping list and send you places to buy the stuff and get it fitted but half the fun is figuring it out yourself. Yes you will make mistakes and sometimes get frustrated but overall it's great fun. Just don't add up the cost.

Summernats and Autosalon don't make sense either but they're popular. I like the ideas of bmw or saab or something else a little different. The boot opening lever on my 34 is where I always expect to find the seat tilt back lever so whenever I go to change the tilt of the seat I open the boot by accident.
