  1. As if we don't do similar things. Normal - but still out.
  2. And yet you can leave the cat that came with the car from the factory on for 25 years and not be required to change it despite the fact that it loses all effectiveness after around 60,000 kms. Typical joke legislation.
  3. Yes 297mm (from memory) vs 310mm does make a difference. I'm only going up to 330mm but hoping for a similar improvement there. I don't want these hanging around forever so give it a week or two and if no one offers me full price they are yours.
  4. They mean they copy the AP brakes, they are not the same as in made in the same factory etc. I'm about to fit some G4 ones to my car.
  5. I'm upgrading my front brakes so these can go. You get the calipers, the lines if you want them, the rotors which are DBA4000 which have been machined once, some half worn Ferrodo DS2500 pads. The calipers work fine, I just want bigger brakes. The flexible lines only come with it cos my kit comes with new ones. They are probably worthless. The rotors will have plenty of life left in them for a street car and cost over $200 each. The pads are very good quality and cost about $250 new. Fair bit of meat left in them. These ones last a long time too. Pics will be put up this weekend once I remove them. If you're in Sydney and want to see them on the car then let me know asap. $400
  6. No they go out together.
  7. That doesn't sound like much power from a twin turbo LS1. Maybe it is a problem? Anyway, I asked this question a while ago. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=54462&hl=
  8. Apparently the brake lines only arrived today so everyone should get their bits in the next few days I expect. Maybe early next week if you're unlucky.
  9. Of course. Give him a call.
  10. It will be fine for your purpose. I have one on my car. 260rwkw.
  11. Yes cams, but if you just want a dyno readout then race fuel.
  12. That's not Igor who bought your old GTST is it Duncan?
  13. It's a good venue. You will like it when you see it. Also it makes for a fun weekend away. Basically we all go down on the saturday and go out on the town saturday night together, take over a pub or whatever. Drinking, fun, etc. Next day you get up and drive your car around the courses we set and you will have a ball. It's a very social event too so you will really get to know your fellow SAUers and I would be surprised if anyone attended and didn't make a new friend, even if it's only me...
  14. Good to meet those who made it. Thanks again for the hospitality Mark and Michele. Make use of the starter motor Angus.
  15. Obviously hit the back of the ute. Tray crumpled the bonnet and ripped off one guard. Front bar probably still attached to the ute.
  16. Go you.
  17. Yes Mr Howard. You are soooo right.
  18. Hehe, hey guys. Yes those who ordered only clutch lines should have them by now. I'll check on brake lines on monday. I believe they had some but were waiting on others.
  19. Maybe with sub 200rwkw you can have same front and rear on a GTST. On my GTT I immediately noticed much better ability to get the power down out of corners with 9" rear rims as opposed to the 8" all round I had previously. Obviously the trade off is increased understeer particularly mid corner but I just had to use a bit less gas to compensate for that.
  20. Mine creaks a bit during winter but goes away when it gets warmer.
  21. They run a lot of camber though don't they? What do you run on the utes Dave - camber and caster?
  22. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...i&img=54385 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...i&img=54383
  23. I seriously doubt you will notice any difference with camber bushes. I use the whiteline ones. 9603 0100
