  1. I'm sure we will get you in.
  2. This was an option of some sort that my car came with. It looks cool but only goes with auto, not with manual dashes and since I have now converted to manual I dont need it, despite how much I love it. $200
  3. I used to love the ultimates but they chew your rotors something savage. I now use Ferodo DS2500. Twice the price but lasts 6 times as long and doesn't rips the rotors. You replace the rotors when your current ones wear out. I have not had problems with pretty much any old Super Dot 4 fluid. The RBF600 certainly has the best specs although I've heard you need to change it more often because it is more hydroscopic than a Dot 4 or Super Dot 4 fluid. Basically the higher the numbers the higher the boiling point and therefore the better performing, but, as the numbers go up the fluids absorb more water so need to be changed more regularly. All except 5 which doesn't absorb water at all so don't use it. 5.1 is fine though.
  4. Is that what you call them? I've heard rear tension rods, rear caster rods, now traction arms. HAve you got adjustable upper arms in the front? If your front camber is excessive then you have to add some.
  5. Yes because it has a ceramic turbine. It's the exhaust that's hot. Water injection cools the intake charge. More power = more heat. I ran mine at 0.8 bar and went to about 10 track days. Then I went to another track day and blew the turbo on the 2nd lap.
  6. I'll be not hearing your negativity.
  7. Hey I didn't see this thread until now. Looks great and just what I've been thinking about doing myself. That's not my old shifter is it dan? Looks awfully familiar!
  8. The VG30 and the R34 rear housings are the same size but both bigger than R33. I'm sure GCG don't charge $1000 for a bit of braided line. Get serious.
  9. Я не понимаю
  10. Sleep is overrated.
  11. I haven't been able to find adjustable upper control arms for changing the camber for my R34 GTT. I know that Whiteline do an eccentric bush but I've heard from some people this doesn't give enough adjustment. Does anyone know what's out there? Also how similar are the upper arms to say, R34GTR, R33 GTST, R33 GTR? I'm guessing the R32's are completely different. I guess I'm more interested in something designed for road use so no spherical bearings (or whatever they are called).
  12. Yeah we might even get more entrants! WOOOT!!!
  13. Yes there are carport like facilities so no probs there. I think there is a compressor but you need your own fitting or somethign like that.
  14. Hahaah. I think the new date is actually going to work in our favour. All the sponsors were happy with it and a number of them will be putting on better displays or coming when they couldn't previously so that is great.
  15. Yes it's true. Please maintain the hype people. I hope you can all make it. I've just spoken to all the sponsors and strange as it may seem, I think the delay is actually going to make it better. GCG Turbochargers were not able to come and now are with a big display and stall and knowledgable guys to answer your questions. Whiteline suspension will be represented by Sydneykid now but before couldn't come. Other sponsors like Just Jap are bringing more stuff, more race cars, more staff and will be putting on a great display for you all. Pro Speed Racing/Defi Australia will be there also with some sexy wares for you to peruse and buy. So yes it's delayed and that sux but hopefully we will get sun instead of rain and everyone will have a great time.
  16. SAU sticker FTW! In other news. Yes we are postponing to 1 July. I haven't confirmed the date with Parramatta City Council yet but hope to before lunch. Please tell everyone, post it everywhere. I would rather people got told 10 times than not at all. I personally think it will be ok but the chance is still there and lots of people may assume it will be crap so 1 July it is. Please keep the faith by setting aside 1 July and helping us make the biggest Skyline gathering ever.
  17. We will be taking everything into consideration. At this stage we are looking at 1 July if it has to be postponed. The condition of the ground where we will be is much better than the attached playing fields. We may be right. What we don't want is for 50 people to say they can't make another day and thus all the effort gets wasted.
  18. That's right.
  19. I tried 6k rpm at the drags last time I was there. Jim Berry clutch 1 > rear cv and drive shaft 0.
  20. Entry time is between 8am and 10am. What usually happens is we get a little rush at 8 then not much til 9. At 9 and until 10 everyone turns up and it's all hands on deck.
  21. It doesn't matter how wrong he might be or if he should have searched or if he doeesn't know something you do, there is no need for rudeness. Just cos someone doesn't know something doesn't make them stupid. Check here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...mp;hl=catch+can
  22. Depends on what you do with the car whether it needs upgrading or not. Keep it going through the radiator though.
