  1. Yeah, we were squeezed for time.
  2. Ok, Yes it's safe in Granville. It's not near the train line... No I'm not execting cops there to defect us. Already spoken to McDonalds. They said I can have a free happy toy if I sell 5000 Big Macs, nah but they are giving us some vouchers and stuff. Malcolm, help me to convince 150 Skylines to come along. If Thorpey is coming, then no one else has an excuse. Illusive, unless it's that white 4 door wth victorian rego I keep seeing, you haven't got a hope of having the dodgiest R34 there. Make sure you are there though. Also, anyone reading this. This day will be huge but don't think it will happen without you. Please enter. Online is easiest for us. Only $10 for members and $20 for non members. It's not much and I know you will have a good time.
  3. Drag day continuation is now 30 May. I thought I had posted that in here but now I see I was deluded. I hope everyone can make it.
  4. 1. It's L2S. Pretty much. The tracks have open L2S days which you can go to but you can't go to race car days. You can use it for Supersprints and some other clubs run L2S days too. Also you can pop down to Wakefield to any of their open days with it. 2. I'll be driving my own car there but it's possible someone from your area has a broken car atm and could drive you. Yes you can still go on the track. 3. I got 7 track days and 10,000 kms from my compliance tyres so yes you can drive there, race, and back on a reasonable amount of tread.
  5. You can use the crown wheel and that other part I think but just change the centre can't you? Would the centre's be interchangeable?
  6. Coolio. For some reports on the last S&S check here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...17&hl=shine http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...04&hl=shine http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...27&hl=shine
  7. I say first in (to pay) best dressed. Just my opinion.
  8. I have decided to create a Best Stagea Category now so hopefully that will induce you all to come and feel more welcome. What say ye all? IN?
  9. I think the 3.9 is from an auto R33 but I'm not 100% sure. 2670 with stock turbo is well within boost and therefore no problems. I think I even have about 7 psi in 5th at those revs.
  10. Yeah all you need is a little more throttle to get rid of understeer. You can almost steer with the throttle on the track.
  11. Bleed the brakes. Check you have 50% meat on pads. Top up the oil or replace it if it's more than 3000k's old or if it's had a track day already.
  12. Ok You're it anna. pm me if you are 100%
  13. I thought it was the post size that was difficult. I've had to buy two and both I got from Powerplay quite cheaply.
  14. 1 way locks up under accelaration 2 way locks up under accelaration and also under decelaration 1.5 locks up under accelaration and partially locks up under decellaration.
  15. I've used it heaps before I moved to the 50 weight. The pressure was lower but not massively.
  16. http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au/?pageid=pg118574734edoras I'll be in for accomodation I think. $50 per person. If someone organises it you can use the SAU account to deposit and pay for it.
  17. I edited my post on page 2 roy. I should get at least one more entry in the top tens I think. I hope to hit 1:09's at Wakie this year.
  18. I might have forgotten to mention but those people who won their category can you please pm me to arrange to collect your prize.
  19. We have a best non skyline award so yes.
  20. Sorry I meant 15w50. It's the 300v Competition. I have been thinking about using the Chrono for winter but my car has always run fairly hot so I appreciate the extra thickness at high temp. I probably should use a better quality oil cooler but the one I have works ok and the 15w50 gives me the protection I need. I do notice quite high oil pressure when cold and am particularly careful when warming up the car because when using a thicker oil like this I think the turbo is more suseptible to damage due to lack of oil flow. I never boost at all before the water is up to temp and would be lucky to hit 0.3bar before the oil temp has risen. As BB says, horses for courses. I am more regularly at 120-130 degrees towards the end of a session whereas he is more around the 105-115 I'm guessing.
  21. Agreed. Rest assured that we are considering all users in our actions and also that we have an eye to future users. I am sure that new people coming into whore threads and seeing bitching and fighting would not feel like hanging around. They only will if people are pleasant and nice. Really, is it up to us to teach people basic manners? I think not. Blitz and Abo Bob's deportment classes this way ----> (big fee involved)
  22. Haha, that's the idea. With any luck someone will randomly and expertly respray it a handsome new colour when you are not looking. Dirtiness is the only thing that wont win a prize. Grandpa spec is welcomed. It's all part of the Skyline history.
  23. Yeah, that's what I mean. Someone says something you don't like? Don't reply and escalate it, report it. And like you are saying Barron - it's your forum guys. Don't shit in your own bed.
