  1. We don't have time to police the whore threads unfortunately. Back when there was just one it was hard, up until 30 minutes ago, it was impossible. Just today we had a reported post that I couldn't see how it was offensive. The person reporting it thought it was and I trust that was true, but because we aren't hanging around the threads we can't see how it pushed people's buttons. It's not like the warning about this possibility was old and forgotten either. Blitz rearranged the chat stuff and put a big obvious warning in there only about a week ago. If you ever get this priviledge back I suggest a stringent self policing effort, ie; use the report post button more often and speak up if someone is pushing the boundaries even if they are not your personal ones. Oh and one other thing; Don't ever bite back.
  2. It seems the more chat there is the more fighting there is. I'm not sure if you all realise this or not but behind the scenes at SAU there are discussions about getting rid of every single whore thread. If the online social side of things is not pleasant then it may just disappear altogether. Please think before you post.
  3. Your 34 has a 4.111 diff ratio. Maybe you can get a 3.9 centre from somewhere.
  4. My Nismo 1 way would lock up at the second you touched the throttle. Very clunky and somewhat annoying although you do tend to tune out after a while and it generally doesn't bother you. I actually like it when clunking around carparks when people look at you and think, WTF! I also 'accidentally' drop the clutch at low revs to get tiny little chirpies and extra clunks from the diff. It makes me laugh. Then again, I've got an electric ratchet socket thingie and that makes me laugh too. I now have a GTR diff in my car and it behaves quietly just like an ordinary car. Your grandma could drive it, although she might have trouble with the clutch.
  5. Dude, can I just say here that you are taking this in the nicest possible way and that is quite refreshing.
  6. He's also made much more than that on other dynos and yet nothing is different. He's got a T04Z ffs!
  7. He can drive the same session as you, ie take your spot in a session for free as long as he has an appropriate licence. If he wants to drive his own session he has to pay full price.
  8. I'll get an email with your details in it tomorrow and I'll reply so you know I got it ok. And yeah Razo, participation. We're trying to get a massive pile of Skylines together just to impress ourselves. I promise you will have fun. We've done this twice before and everyone had fun.
  9. Excellent. I think we will have 2 groups of newbies this time. There are plenty of experienced people around to help you out too. That's the beauty of a passengers allowed track day.
  10. Im sorry I can't be more positive Dan cos I'm sure my car is the perfect bridal car but I wont know if I'm finished work until about a week before since it's a friday.
  11. BANG! hahahahahahaaha I crack me up.
  12. Well actually there will be many unofficial categories just like that. We have a lots and lots of stuff to give away. I remember last time we actually ran out of time to give all the stuff away there was so much. haha. You'd almost say it was unlucky if you didn't win anything.
  13. Full amounts only. I think this event will sell out so there should be no trouble getting someone to take your place. I will not be organising accomodation/party side of things but I am fairly sure someone will. Well there are 40 spots total. I opened the event mid morning today and I have 8 confirmed payments already. This event will most likely sell out. It's the big/only SAU official track day of the year. Yes you get a Wakefield licence on the day. And another thing; you are mostly all my friends so I'm sure you wont take offence to this but read the f**king first post. 98% of the answers are already there!!!!!111one You might be lazy but I am answering the same questions 50 times each!!!!111 Phew, glad I got that off my chest.
  14. Thanks Anna. 40 spots only so everyone gets heaps of track time. No pics of shirt yet cos they haven't actually been made yet.
  15. Thanks Liz. There is a category of Best Non Skyline as well.
  16. First post updated. We are now taking payments. The event is open. This looks like being big guys so don't wait til the last second.
  17. If I was you I would relax and be happy! Good times!
  18. You're so not asian James...
  19. Take off the kick panel from the passenger foot well. First check the outside of the ecu for stickers that say some brand name or something, next pull it out and check that the temper sticker is still intact - or not - and finally, open the ecu and look inside for a chip or sticker of some brand. Take a picture of the inside of the ecu and post it up.
  20. Not members only - pm coming.
  21. You may find that you have a chipped ECU from Japan, or a freak car, or both. That said I have seen the odd series 2 R33 with decent power and no after market ECU. BTW, everyone who won and didn't get their prize, please pm me to sort something out. I work in the city, live in Sutherland or maybe you get get it at another SAU event.

  23. I'll post em up tomorrow. In the meantime I want to thank UAS for putting on a big effort for us and generously donating lots of stuff for prizes. As mentioned, John, Ben, Andrew, Tim, that guy whose name I didn't catch and Tim's gf; thanks a bunch. Thanks also to Motul for sponsoring us by providing many litres of oil and other things for us to give away. And we should also mention Turbosmart for their support too. Motul and Turbosmart are great supporters of club events like this and it's really appreciated. Lastly, thanks to Jess, Nick and James for looking after things on the day. I was running around like a madman trying to help Andrew and the boys so having you guys look after everything was great. Oh and nearly forgot, thanks to everyone who looked after Bob for me today. He loved it and is now sound asleep.
  24. Well, it looks like a nice day. I'm heading up there now. Bit of a drive for me. Hope to see a big turnout guys. BTW if one or three people could help us cook the bbq that would be great. Cheers.
  25. Achtung! Toyo Tyres are very kindly donating a full set of Toyo Proxes 4 tyres to one lucky entrant. Currently financial Skylines Australia Club Members will get two tickets in the raffle to win the tyres while non members will get one ticket each. So as far as raffles go, the odds will be very low and you have a real chance of winning a new set of tyres. This is a pretty big prize so rather than giving it to the "Best" car, we are keeping the fun of the day intact by giving them pretty much randomly to an entrant. You gotta enter the show to win 'em!
