  1. With defects the cop can choose to fine you or not and can choose whether the car can be driven or not as well as how long you have to clear the defect. I would try ringing the cop. Tell him you were doing some repairs and testing and you forgot to put your pod enclosure back on and raise the ride height as it's fully adjustable. Say that you understand about the bov and will change it and get the defect cleared in the appropriate way but tell him that your exhaust has been tested and certified by an engineer and has not been changed since so would he kindly remove that part of the defect since it is plainly wrong and harsh of him to make you have it tested again. If you come across as a decent and reasonable person and he is half decent he should help you out. If he doesn't then take it to court with before and after readings and get the magistrate to embarrass him.
  2. I once went on a skid pan with my air con, stereo and traction control all on. Car didn't seem to want to slide.
  3. Purchase. They can get as cheap as $100 I think, maybe even $80. Check this thread for SAU club member discount on helmets. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=119575
  4. I know a girl who works at hooters, maybe I can organise a free grope for everyone... ps I am definitely joking.. about the groping.
  5. There's a few wrong things in that article. It's interesting reading a wiki on something you know about as opposed to reading it to find out information. It's fairly accurate but certainly not 100%.
  6. You need a full exhaust system.
  7. Champion! I hope that smoke was just rev limiter richness...
  8. I'll put my semi slicks on, that's my floor...
  9. Do you have stock injectors and an adjustable FPR or bigger injectors? What fuel pump?
  10. Spotted SL32IM in Wollongong this morning.
  11. Well that was fun. Did some ghetto repairs to my car too, jack up the bent steering arm and all is good.. well it needs a wheel alignment but it needed one anyway.
  12. Don't you have the triple gauges in the middle of your dash?
  13. I'm going to get out the drift bible.
  14. Most motorsport venues specifically ban alcohol so I doubt it would be allowed.
  15. And there is a good chance you can get this to your door for under $3500. What will be your redline bman? (Thinking about convertors)
  16. Well it's nice down here in Canberra. BTW I got my car back with it's new GTR rear end. Goes good. See some of you at the drift day.
  17. Am I blind? I can't seem to see a button to forward a pm.
  18. Get fatz to do it for you.
  19. How? Do you cut the bell housings off? How do you reconnect them?
  20. Take it down to Greg at Autosport Engineering in Kirrawee for diagnosis.
  21. Mik runs his GTR with 360+rwkw and a 3" system. I run 270rwkw and 3". That's not to say there are no gains to be made but I don't think it's a major impediment. How much power are you chasing.
  22. I looked into this a while ago for my car and the place I spoke to said they could do it but it would go bad again soon. So there's confirmation I guess. I'm selling my Nismo 1 way in a few days... fits in r33's not sure about R32.
  23. He's got a GTT not a GTR so keep that perfectly good oil in there mate.
  24. The casing is much lighter than the R33 ones. I use lightweight shockproof in mine with 270rwkw no probs. Also my box had 200,000+ k's on it before it got into my car. It has a small problem which I know others have had in that when shifting fast from 4th to 5th at redline (well at any revs really) you can put it into a no mans land between 3rd and 5th gears where it crunches badly. I have had to slow my changes there cos I don't want to blow the box. Short answer, no nothing like the getrag from the R34 GTR, very much like the R33 GTST.
  25. The reason why I didn't put it a week earlier is because Autosalon is on then and we actually have an entry this year.
