GTShortie I think got a 12.7 or 12.6 last sunday and I got a 12.4. I think he has about 50rwkw less than me but probably a lighter car. Mine is 1580 with me and a full tank.

Yeah they do. I got charged $60.50 to check and polish my crank, $150 for the collar and $150 to machine and fit it. That's a long way off a new crank cost.

That's what I said. It was my fault. This thread is like bumping into an ex for me. Not pleasant. I'm happier calling it my fault than thinking it wasn't tuned better.

My tune was setup for 0.9 bar and I split a hose going to the boost controller. Stupidly I increased the boost duty cycle massively, thus putting about 1.3 bar into it. It went bang. Still got me around Wakefield about 30-40 times and home to Sydney again but used an awefully large amount of fuel doing it.

6000rpm launch. Smashed the drive shaft. That's my CV joint casing.

Not sure about non skyline. I'll decide on the day. You're all welcome to come of course, just not sure on a prize.

I've painted a car with house paint once. Looked great. Preparation consisted of one of those green scourers. The dodgiest thing done to the Skyline is no soldering, just electrical tape on any wiring I've done.

Cost will be $50 members and $55 non members. There will be prizes for each category of: Stock Turbo R32 GTST Aftermarket Turbo R32 GTST Stock Turbo R32 GTR Aftermarket Turbo R32 GTR Stock Turbo R33 GTST Aftermarket Turbo R33 GTST Stock Turbo R33 GTR Aftermarket Turbo R33 GTR Stock Turbo R34 GTT Aftermarket Turbo R34 GTT Stock Turbo R34 GTR Aftermarket Turbo R34 GTR but only if you all behave yourselves. The prizes are small and not worth fighting over or cheating for. Dyno is a rear wheel drive dyno but GTR's will have their fuse pulled or drive shafts removed free of charge. 9am til 4pm or later if there are still cars to go on. I will be there a bit before but first car goes on at 9am. This looks like being a big one guys. I will be taking money and names on the day so that everyone goes on the dyno in order of arrival. I blew my engine with a remap. Not the remaps fault but it didn't retard anything enough to save my engine.

I use a cheapy JJ style one. I found it wasn't quite enough cooling but now with a JJ radiator it's plenty. I have driven a mates R34 GTR on the track with similar power to mine, he has the biggest GReddy one and standard radiator. He has no cooling problems with that combo. You can actually see the temp dropping quite rapidly as you come down the straight and the airflow increases with your speed. So I guess this proves there's at least two ways to skin a cat.
