Massive thanks to Peter for his efforts in organising this event and MadManz too I think it was. It really is a big effort. Thanks again to the same two guys for getting me home on a trailer so I didn't have to sell a child into slavery for a truck. And just when you thought the day was over; the rain came just in time to put a halt to the bracket racing fun. WSID have agreed to that the 8 undefeated will gain free entry on a wednesday night street meet (which one to be advised) and a lane to themselves from which they will finish what was started today. Should be fun. I made only 4 passes but reeled in a best of 12.419 @ 110.53 before bowing out to the might of the Mickey Thompsons. I ran 111 a couple of times and on one run where I thought I did well the end timer didn't work so no MPH or ET. Basically I smashed the inner cv on pass number 5 I think it was. On the 4th pass I tried to launch at 5000 rpm but accidentally revved to about 5800 before the clutch bit. The thing just launched. 1.783 60' That became my new pb as detailed above so I thought, well looks like these tyres can hold 6k so that's what they will get. Held it there then engaged clutch and released handbrake. Kind of went like this; f**kIN YEEEAAAA - BANG! I stopped on the track and looked in my drivers side rear view mirror only to see a couple of good sized ball bearings chasing me down the track. I got out and caught them as they went by (artistic licence used here) and waited for my tow back to the carpark. Man it was fun. I can only assume that with some more practice and stronger cv joints I can get better 12's and maybe even a high 11.

The road is completely dry at my place. There will be some small cost, about $5-10 per car I think, if we cancel this morning. Better than losing the lot. See you at the pitstop tavern everyone.

Well I just drive across Sydney and there are wet spots and dry spots. My place here in Sutherland has almost dry dirt in the backyard. Meet at the spot as per the plan unless we post here otherwise. My number if you're desperate is 0421 301 061, bear in mind I'm not in bed yet so I'm going to be grumpy if it's on and really grumpy if it's off.

There will be an official thread in a month or so.

Oil Leaks In 3 Different Places =|

Whereabouts are you? -
I think judging from the lack of mention of extinguishers in my above post then we probably don't need them. Also, can you email or pm me: Full name - User name on the forums - Mobile Number - Email address if pm'd -
-
Even when calibrated things like tyre wear can put them out by as much as 3%.

Who needs more photos? There's tonnes in here already.

Bit confused by what you're asking. Yes paid up drivers can drive a second car if they want. Second car cannot be another entrants car. Can all drivers please post in here - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry2997965

PM sent Wayne. Can all drivers please post how many of their tickets they have left and who they are bringing from SAU so we can give out the spares to other SAU people? I'll start: 3 family members of Mysteryman 2rismo spare - invited nuffsaid, waiting to hear back. -
Just got this from IDA: The day runs from 9:30AM to 4:30PM on the north circuit of Oran Park. Sign up is from 8:00AM We will be using two different layouts to suit beginners (infield) and advanced (figure eight). Non-flammable long sleeves, pants and CAMS approved helmet required. L2NS minimum licence (L2S OK). Car registration is not required. Car must have battery clamped securely, no leaks, properly secured seat and properly secured restraints (harnesses need current labels). Passengers not permitted in any session. Pre-registered price for you guys is $130 for all day. This is only for guys who are a member of your club and hold a CAMS licence. Bring your membership cards. Gate entry for spectators is $10
-
And in fact there is a rule that says you can't give your spectators their tickets at the gate or even on the access road leading to WSID. You have to go right out into the real world to give them their tickets. So it's your call. If you don't want to be going out every 5 minutes to hand tickets out then you should make sure they come with you very early.

Man I need to put my tounge back in my head and stop rubbing my nipples.

I love how everyone who has it fitted wont explain what was necessary to make it fit. This is a forum where people share information, so share, please.

R33 pistons are the same. "I have also been told by other R34 owners who have put in R33 pistons not to bother because they are different and if I do my engine will last about 6 months before it goes pop" WTF?
-
That cop you spoke to sounds pretty decent and he gave you some good info. Do what we already told you. You'll be right. Pray to the Mik and Jerry gods if it makes you feel better. Don't forget there is often a little bit of luck in these things and it can go both ways. Roll the dice, be honest and do your best.
-
Probably a little high. I never let it go over 130 on the track but obviously that's thrashing it. 100 on a very hot day maybe with some hard driving.
-
Ahh so that's what was wrong with you.
-
Hey, I never tried to chat up any chicks but one chased me out of the pub and gave me her number.
-
Wasn't it you that pushed the beer into me when I was drinking? Maybe not. I remember someone doing it but can't remember who. Anyway, my teeth are fine, sux about yours. And who you calling a bimbo? Also, I'm not blond.

Happy birthday to the both of yas. I was not feeling too well today.

Hey guys got an I r34 25gt (n/a) with zorst xtractors pod does alrite for a n/a though its an r34 with show no go... So decided to buy a turbo engine... Better off selling it and buying a factory turbo R34. Went for a R33 engine as one guy told me its better goin that way then gettin r34gtt coz of neo head.. when modded may have some troubles... What a crock. So i got a r33 series 2 engine but no arrived yet maybe late next week... Should have asked us first. So anyways another guy told me neo was better because of head has more flow and neo wouldn't have anything wrong or hard to overcome when modded... Made me feel like crap.. Bast!@#$... It has larger exhaust valves and solid lifters. So anyways besides my story part of the topic... Any help on if this will work??? Coz of electronics... dash lights aircon stuff liike that? ohmy.gif Guess its too late i already bought it but still... wouldn't mind any feedbacks =] It will be a massive head f**k to get it to work. You will probably need an R33 ECU and loom. It will take many many hours and plenty of autoelectrics knowledge which you don't have. Sell both the engine and the car and buy a factory turbo R34. If you think you will mod it, get one with some mods already done. Big money saving there.
