  1. I reckon you could have done it in under 20 if you had someone actually handing you the beers as and when you needed them.
  2. Bus like suspension? I did a 1:12 around Wakefield with the stock suspension and auto box.
  3. I would think that as long as you are keeping the wrap on the manifold then no need to coat it as well but it certainly wont hurt.
  4. I think I've got a spare lying around somewhere.
  5. It's had a tune since I last saw it then! I saw it at Unigroup when I went to get mine tuned recently. Had about 590rwhp at the time.
  6. Of course they have bands. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/automatic-transmission1.htm What do you mean by not holding 3rd gear Joe? In my old auto the overrun servo wasn't engaging so that the revs dropped when you took your foot off the accelerator. It was still in gear and the engine could still drive the wheels but the wheels couldn't drive the engine if you know what I mean.
  7. Not necessarily doubting you Mark but auto diffs are usually longer. In the R34 the auto is 4.089 and the manual is 4.111. I know that's close enough to be almost the same but you see whatI mean? I thought the R33 auto diffs were 3.9xx but I've got nothing to back myself up there.
  8. They never disengage. Have you got an atmo bov?
  9. It's quite possible a second hand diff centre was put in there.
  10. He put the cams in before the highflow. Also that is the R34 highflow, not the R33 one. I think there is about 15rwkw difference between the 2.
  11. I'm saying with an R33 highflow you will probably need cams to get to 250rwkw wouldn't you? Maybe not. Maybe get pretty close.
  12. What engine is this on?
  13. How come none of the rest of you have commented on that f**ked up dyno graph? Did Sam not give you any hints as to why it peaks so early? What revs do you make the 14psi? I'd be trying to figure out what's wrong with it now before changing turbos.
  14. We may be there too, depending on the weather.
  15. I use a program called Visualizer Photo Resize to make them small. It's really easy and good. I'll get a DVD Dan.
  16. Nice one Danny.
  17. I'll be in whatever.
  18. Also that Walbro will not support 300rwkw. I would not go over 240rwkw. I had about 250 odd and pulled the return line off to see how much was flowing back to the tank when revving hard on the dyno. The flow completely stopped!
  19. I'd be interested to see your results without putting an exhaust on there but I wouldn't recommend it. Also I blew my turbo at 12psi or so as have plenty of people I know. My rule of thumb for the R34 is 12 psi on the street and 10psi on the track. To confirm, zorst, pfc, tune, done.
  20. I wouldn't use any gasket goop on the exhaust. I use ordinary grease. The idea is that it burns when you first take the car for a drive (so don't be scared of a lttle smoke at first) then this leaves the carbon residue which fills the gaps.
  21. They don't usually stop spectators just turning up and having a gander.
  22. Well normally they are here - http://events.oranpark.com/template9.asp?C...mp;parentid=212 but this months days aren't up yet. Next wed, thur, fri are GP days and I think both days of this weekend and next weekend are south circuit days. We will be keeping our eyes on the weather for the 3 weekdays of next week.
