Washing engine bay is bad mmkay.

Does anyone know why? He doesn't seem to.

Ok everyone it's time to calm down. Viper and El knob head have been temporarily banned for 2 and 7 days respectively. This is the pm I just sent Viper: I've disabled your ability to post for 2 days. This is because you are very wrong about being allowed to do what ever you want on the roads. It's usually other people who die, not the driver. Look at those kids up the coast last week. 4 kids dead, 1 survived - the driver.

My rego runs out next saturday so I needed to fix all the cars problems which were: 1. Replace cracked rear rotor. 2. Fix exhaust leak - diagnosed as turbo to manifold gasket cos I could actually see the missing part. 3. Clean up after my dodgy catch can. 4. Also borrowed a GTR bov to test fit to see if my stocker is leaking and causing my gradual boost drop. I know not for rego but still needs to be done. 1. was pretty easy once I took the handbrake off. Doh! 3. Easy. 2. Was very proud of myself because I was able to replace the gasket without removing the turbo or exhaust, just undid the exhaust mount nearest the front. 4. Decided to go temporarily atmo because the GTR bov has a larger diameter outlet than the stocker. Confused myself when I installed it and realised I had an open pipe where the plumb back used to go but I used 4 thicknesses of heavyish plastic held on with a hose clamp to fix that. Started her up and the bloody exhaust leak was still there!! WTF!! And, the car wouldn't idle properly. I put my hand over the bov outlet and that cures the idling problem. What's going on there? Is it leaking? Is it supposed to? I went for a drive and the exhaust leak seems to be less but it's confusing and annoying. I noticed that the face of the turbo where it mounts on to the manifold doesn't seem to be perfectly flat. Does this happen often? Can I get it machined flat? So either the warping is too bad to fix with a new gasket, there was always another leak, or I just didn't tighten it up enough (which I don't think cos I did it pretty tight). Arrgh!

That's a different front bar but looks like a neat install from here.

Ooh you wait until you start getting 1.8-1.9 60's. 13.5 at least. What tyres are you using? Using the handbrake as well as the foot brake for launches?

Sounds like a fuel problem to me. I would be looking to see that all your fuel plumbing in the engine bay is the right way round. It would help to have an R34 engine bay side by side to check it. I hooked mine up backwards once. It went but not well. Failing something like that, change the pump to check that or at least check it's wiring.

CYIFLY - I love that car. I spotted about 20 lines last night on Heathcote road, all in a row.

The rain seems rather sporadic. It's not raining and the ground isn't even wet here in the city right now. I'm not calling it off no matter what. If it rains, so be it, but even if it does it's unlikely to be raining non stop all over sydney.

I live in the shire too, what's the point of going to the end of the cruise unless you can't make it to the start. I don't know how long it will take, maybe to 11:30 at a very rough guess.
