  1. And that's the people they are targeting with this, winding back a porshe is still going to land an non enthusiast who just wants a porshe for the sake of it, WE all know that import odometers are a complete wank and basically might as well say 1kmfor what they are worth, But others will go on carsales and make a short list and put huge emphasis on the kms as the most important thing next to the year and features
  2. hahahaha I wish imports are hoon cars so they are not going to try and help the "hoon" community
  3. That's a good point too, Why do car dealers think they can swear in front if customers and still get a sale, fair enough if I swear first, which I don't believe I ever have when making a purchase But 2 months ago when I was looking at car this car salesman thought he was at a Kevin bloody Wilson concert. dropping a swear every second word acctually put me off, I don't expect to walk onto dicksmith and when I ask about phone cable have the salesman say " well we have this f**ken cable and that f**ken cable and this ones shit and that ones a kunt to get in" Or call up telstra and the operator says "the problem is the reception in your area is f**ken shit" Or call the bank and the customer service rep says "the problem is that you've got no f**ken money" So why do car salesman think they can do it
  4. I would too, or more correctly I wouldn't I'd just walk away, My ADM s15 has 122000kms on it with a few scratches and very small gouges at the bottom of the drivers door, that's it rest if the interior is in excellent condition and the engine bay is about a 9.5 out of 10 very clean, a guy showed me hos s15 JDM with 75000kms on it and it looked like shit compared to my car, I didn't believe the kms for a second But the point is that while alot of us would scrutinize that most people would and its unfair that they are being taken for a rode cause they don't know as much about cars as we do
  5. Back in the rta used to list on their own vehicle history check if the cars odometer was tampered with now they don't so what's the point in recording the numbers if they do nothing about it
  6. Lol I'd like to say I had a hard day at work But I just sit on my ass all day on the computer
  7. Thanks mate please post the link when your done I meant to watch it but I fell asleep on the lounge
  8. Cause Im guessing at some point in next 10years they may fix their system and start recording and making them available again, I'm sure it can't be hard, But then it is the rta
  9. Yeah that's true, they must advertise them legally but they may already have someone up for a promotion, but then that frees up a position from the promoted worker
  10. Wrong If you get a revs/vehicle history check done for the last 3 years it says rta doesnot currently keep records of odometer readings So they even tell you themselves they don't check it. And obviously dealerships know this
  11. You know whos fault this is? The rta for not recording odometer readings like they used to
  12. Post this in the WTB section,
  13. Mine was one of these Same colour same year Bought for $2700 with 217000kms on it had it for 3 years I never had to spent a cent on it. other than servicing it, And the cd player I put in as soon as I got it Drove it to all the shows and band practices for a whole 2 years Some f**kwitt broke into it one night when I was playing a show, lucky nothing was in the car, but he broke both my door locks so I had to get in through the boot and unlock the door from the inside Took me and the wife (GF at the time) to bribane and back with the entire car FULL and I mean full of our shit. It died at 320000kms the cv joints and shocks were totally gone and it wasn't worth fixing
  14. Should have rephrased that you shouldn't but I'm not saying it doesn't happen lol
  15. Yeah I understand that there will never be 100% employment that is impossible, if all the jobs on seek or what ever were filled we'd be close but You can't just put some hobo in a teamleader job at telstra But from my personal example how many more would be doing exactly the same thing I think centrelink should contact them and say we have a cornershop job in Perth for you, don't like it ok no more dole payments, From what I understand all they have to do is turn up to an interview act uninterested and then they can tick it of on their sheet saying they went to an interview and they get another month of dole payments it's bullshit, I've heard, not sure how true it is that in Germany a brothel work is a valid employment and if you are on unemployment for long enough and they say we have a job in a brothel available and you turn it down you get cut off, Now if that's true why can't Australia do this obviously not to that extreme but what's wrong with being a nightfill worker or cleaner in a shopping centre, it's just people being to proud they'd rather get something for nothing
  16. I agree Local council and federal government is all we need And it would cost us less as tax payers to more strong police the welfare syst than just hand out money to every lazy f**ker Why isn't there a time limit on unemployment if you can find a job even a part time one after 3 months then your either not trying hard enough/don't want to work/ or too proud to work at Maccas or woolworths
  17. I'm not talking about other countries, I'm sure there are other places that have it slot worse than us in regards to taxes and such Like for instance back on topic new Zealand pay nearly 60c a litre more for bp ulitimate, But just cause there may be places worse off doesn't make what our governments doing correct
  18. No worries, obviously you don't accept that people have different opinions to yourself, I could sit here argue with you but if your gonna call me an idiot and a dumbass instead of making a decent argument then I'm not even gonna bother
  19. Europe pays more for rego? Shit I would never had know that, but what about our luxury car tax just thrown on every vehicle above a certain amount, and the 3% stampduty on EVERY car sold just because, I know big business owns make more than the p.m but there's a reason for that . They have worked their way up to CEO or created a company from scratch they normally worked for it, PM's fall into the role after gathering enough support from their mates in the party, I wish I could run the company by getting enough support from the people I work with,
  20. How am I ignorant I know what tax goes to I'm not saying we shouldn't pay any tax, And my comment was from a personal experience I haven't just watched today tonight and thought they made a good point
  21. Look I'm not saying all the people on cetrelink are bludgers, if me and my wife ever happen to have a baby she'll have to go on assistance for the first year, cause we won't be able to survive on 1 income, when I lost my job 3 years ago I knew I needed to have some money coming in straight away so I went to centerlink all the things they needed me to do in order to get assistance it was acctually easier to go out and het a shit job, so that's what I did, and I worked my way back up to a half decent paying job But I will garauntee that atleast 30% of people on unemployment could work they just don't want to, As for my tax money going to other things, I'm sure tax could be lower, And prices on public service put up to pay for the people that use them, ie put the prices for trains up so my tax isnt paying for railways I don't use They already charge us a shit load for car rego and things relating to cars eg transfer of rego, licenses, so that money should directly go to paying for roads Lastly our tax goes to paying politians, they make way too much and there are too many of them, there should be no state parliament only federal government and local council, and they should get paid alot less
  22. He isn't in the same state as me so plane ticket to Victoria would cost as much as I'm owed
  23. No worries How's the search going?
