  1. Alot of people belive it or not know nothing about cars they aren't interested in them so if they had an error on the registration papers how would they know so its not up to you to pick it up
  2. Your just registering it as per the papers from the RTA
  3. It wouldn't have any effect of 3rd party cause you were not the person who entered the details when you complied the car Plus I'm sure the price for 3rd party injury would be the same whether it was 4 or 6 cylinders
  4. I don't remember Jeremy ever having a nice thing to say about a TVR I remember him saying his wife liked one of them but not him
  5. Don't get discouraged I knew NOTHING about cars 2 Years ago I mean nothing I owned a 1990 camry and I played guitar When I gave up guitar I decided that I was curious about cars and boight my first turbo import I hope you learn about them a different way than I did I bought an r32 with a blown motor and learnt alot from that car, Now 2 years later I am by no means an expert I still learn atleast sonething new every week, this forum is a great place for usefully advice, I now do all my own oil changes fitted mg own exhaust have fixed countless bits and pieces on all the cars Ive owned Also buying mags like performance imports is a great way to learn ( don't buy hot4's unless you want to learn about spinners and having more tv screens than KWs) And don't be afraid to ask questions on here once you tried the search function aslong as you don't ask questions about doing fat burn outs or beating wrxs at the lights you should be fine Goodluck and have fun
  6. Absolutly nothing I'm trying to keep it stock All it has is a full turbo back exhaust If your not planning on going for more power then the HD clutch will be fine I think it's once you go above 250rwkw you need extra HD or better
  7. I'm no expert But I'd defiantly take ny car straight to my mechanic if my car was making a noise like that
  8. Sounds like you need a new clutch if it's slipping it's tile to replace it I got an extreme hd clutch they are a bit cheaper than exedy Im happy with the feel of it, how many kws are you running
  9. Thus question has popped up alot lately The reason we say sell it and buy a manual is cause the cost and work involved is not worth it, Especially with and r33 your looking at around 3000 maybe a little more Unless your r33 is pilling decent power as it is or had alot of money spent on it your much better off selling it as you can get a manual r33 from between 6000-10000 bucks depending on how clean or worked it is
  10. I don't want to get in trouble for posting in a for sale thread so I won't post anymore comments after this one Yeah that's the guy 6e-online I bought a wheel from him looked genuine to me momo serial number and stamp on. The back momo box with instructions and genuine horn I know cause I bought a fake horn button of eBay before and it looked fake really fake They are just crappy pictures he uses the back ground makes it look fake- but I'm pretty sure it's the real deal Maybe try listing the wheel on eBay you might get close to what you want I sold an old momo steering wheel for $340 on eBay I listed it for .99c but it was one they don't make anymore Either way goodluck with the sale mate
  11. Are you sure it's the trust bearing? I've never heard a thrust bearing that loud and Ive had 5 or 6 different make cars with a very worn or slightly worn thrust bearing
  12. Hey mate don't want to rain on your parade but there is a seller on eBay I bought a momo wheel from brand new in box for 189 and he has stacks of them so if you want to shift it on here you may want to reconsider your price No being rude just noticed you've hadnit up for nearly a month Cheers
  13. If it is you should be able to pop the bonnet and listen near the front where the belts are
  14. Hmmm not really sure then you might want to have that looked at by someone who's know what they are doing could be a gear box problem, Luckily it's not a hugely expensive job to swap it over if your getingthe clutch changed it would cost any extra in labour, it's just a natter if find a decent condition reasonably price gear box
  15. If the clutch is worn chances are the thrust bearing is worn to, Before I changes my clutch yhe bearing was really loud As asked before does the noise go away when the clutchpedal is all the way to the floor? Also you said it only happens when it's cold If The sound goes away when the cars warm it could be a sign of a gearbox problem
  16. Why are you holding the clutch on in second?
  17. Could just be the thrust bearing Does it go away if you push the clutch pedal all the way in?
  18. Clearly the guy at the rta who put through the compliance papers never saw the car in real life I had an S13 that said sedan, they don't even make an S13 sedan, and the back seats were only good for children under 5
  19. Just picked up the new rims today need these gone
  20. I might be wrong but I'd just leave it as long as you insure it for what is is and not go off the rego papers you should be fine I wouldnt go through a blueslip or wa equivalent unless needed My car is listed at the wrong weight on the rego papers and I've been told not to bother trying to correct it as it will end up costing me more than it's worth in savings if te weights bought down Heaps of imports are regoed as sedans when they are clearly coupes and moat of the time people just leave it
  21. your just as much of a di*khead as he is See my comment in your thread about shaving your head
