I replaced the viscus hub already im gonna take it out n get it properly tested or buy a new one

Yeah replaced water pump 8-9 months ago and veales supplied me with a water oem pump and yeah just flushed radiator twice and nothing came out but coolant that came out was cold when was dumped and water was taken to boiling point

Okai got a new thermostat in and car is still over heating oil temp rises first to about 110 and then water temp just goes crazy any ideas what it could be

More start stop driving it happens..have a feeling its the thermostat :s its the only thing that I havent replaced on th car haha but yeah noticed oil temp rises first and when it gets to bout 100 water temp starts rising and I can flick the heater on and water temp drops back to normal but oil temp just gets hotter.. ill take th radiator out today n try that though

Hey guys, so recently my car has started overheating and only had my major service done 6months ago which I put a new water pump in and had the radiator flushed and so on.. Last week got my new clutch put in n since then been over heating doubt it would have an input on over heating lol But thermostat seems to be opening normally but oil temp jumps to about 110 normal driving n my water temp sky rockets almost 140 Also noticed on idle oil pressure sits at bout 2kg/cm2 maybe a fraction under thought it sat a little higher on idle? anyone know what it could possibly be..

Yeah well he wanted to have a go about my rear windows bein tinted n I told him its factory uv cut glass fitted in japan not tint and it was complied with it in 08 and 12months ago reregistered with it n he all he said back was "well whats legal in japan is different to australia." But I know there looking for things to make life difficult but I asked him if hid's were legal and he goes yeah just have to get permits I was like yup you have no idea cause i know for a fact if they arent in projector headlights with self leveling they arent legal so I know there just taking th piss

Haha rowan so true and whats annoying is cops say one thing n the pits say another! The system is fckd..haha the saying goes you get hasseled by the cops more for driving a nice car then you do for murder..

Thanks leer34 yeah its 100mm in wa from lowest point of the car but ive never heard of a specific clearance between tyre n guard.. And jimmy I got done at 7.20 in bayswater nice way to start a tuesday morning.. Haha

Hey guys, So on my way to work this morning got stopped by the po po.. and yup they slapped me with a yellow lickey! All they want me to do is go over the pits to get permits but have nothing wrong with the car! i got pinged for my tyre gaps being too close low to the guards (dont even have coilovers)?? didnt know there was a law for it, just thought there was a ride height law and the tyres clear my guards never rubs?? And also Blow off valve are they legal or not?

Hey mate, asked my dad cause hes in the motor trade.. he says take photos of it, and take the car back to them and tell them they need to change oil and oil filters ASAP if it hasnt been done. Sludge probably caused by lack of oil changes and possible over heating..and sludge is hard to get rid of. You need to lodge your concerns with the dealership and give them to opportunity to rectify the problem otherwise you can report this to the MTA and they will take it further one your behalf. You also must request they do a cyclinder leak test and compression test and make sure no further damage! and number one rule dont trust a sales man hope that helps
