  3. QuickR33 - glad nothing happened thats what counts - i had an incident on not long ago, posted on here somehwere under the victoria section, 4 guys in a car, i got stopped at train lines, middle of the night in dande, one guy got out no shirt, crowbar in hand, and wlaked towards my car - i was the one smoking them up in reverse then!!! also a few weeks ago i overtook a vs ute on the way to my gfs because it was driving slow in the right hand lane, and he followed me to my girlfriends, (i didn't realise he was actually following me, thought he may have lived in her st etc.. since there was only a couple of turns from where i overtook him i gave him the benifit of hte doubt.. but as i pulled up in my gfs driveway (end of a court) he did a U turn and left... Suss.... from now on if i stop at red lights or train lines, i try to be aware of whats around me and how i could get out of there quick if i have to also more weary of people following me - at least in our cars we CAN loose them if we have to
  4. ahah yeah, i just don't know where i could put it to get it to sit good/nice Anyone have dimensions?
  5. ahhh, find some rails and jib jib jib!!!!
  6. yeah i'll belive it when i see it - aussie snow is so unpredictable, and i always get crap days here, and falls is flat Check out some of my snowboarding photos 1st one is a 65foot kicker doing a backside 180... you can see the people filming me down in the bottom corner 2nd one is a 1 footed log slide deep in the trees.. both were taken at Copper Mountain, CO I miss snowboarding
  7. that looks like a nasty install funky... i wouldn't want my car like that
  8. DESCR8 - emailed you last week about the xenons... after condition of them and photos etc...
  9. strich9ine - yeah mine did the same thing, i just superglued the rubber bits back on (superglue works well with rubber) and its been fine since...
  10. Don't mean to hijack, but I'm also on the lookout for a twin plate to suit a r33 gtr... think my clutch is on its way out... Snce this is Gavs thread, he has first preference etc...
  11. dont think they'd be interested in fitting it.... is it just all electrical wires? only thing i'm worried about is placement etc...
  12. Im also after a twin plate clutch....
  13. ylwgtr2 - know anyone who can fit one in melb? How much would it cost do you think? *thinks of the wank factor* heh
  14. Prank - when you got your toe in adjusted (all this time ago) what did you get it adjusted to? did you need an aftermarket to adjust it? or can it be adjusted with the stock GTR setup? Anyone know what stock GTR castor and camber can be set to without an aftermarket kit?
  15. james - that would be appreciated (to borrow hte roof rack) does it scratch/leave any marks? haven't tested getting the boards in, but i'm sure i could fit a couple of boards in the back
  16. yeah always take negative off first, that way there is no ground to get the power out... if you undo the positive, there is a chance of grounding the spanner from the positive terminal to the body of the car which will create a circuit and end up going back to the negative side of the battery... bad if you disconnect the negative side, then you can't create a circuit... if you just want to disconenct the battery, just one terminal is enough, no need to take both off... unless you are removing it or charging it etc...
  17. I belive it is to help stop/absorb some vibrations in the steering wheel.
  18. interesting - has you ever fitted one to a r33gtr?
  19. BB Godz - why wouldn't i take the GTR up?
  20. ss8_gohan - sorry to hear that (your a skier) i used to ski before i tried snowboarding, as nearly everyone who has tried snowboarding from skiing, i sold my skis and bought a board straight away twin tips, ie freestyle - sking owes its renewed (freestyle) interest to snowboarding, without snowboards you probably would still be on old straight skis, wearing fluro one peices
  21. riskbreaker - racv will cover you (on your corolla or normal non import cars) on driving history, ie driven for 5 years without a claim would give you rating 1 you could use that on your corolla for a few months, then transfer that rating to your import with another company with a 'rating 1' letter from racv
  22. bump, added photo of vent im after since i got the wrong one if anyone wants the vent (long vent about 50cm long ) that sits to the left of the one i'm after - let me know i have one sitting here
  23. Yeah i'd need to get my tint off as well
