how much did it cost you? how long did it take what exactly did they do , do you know?

rs73 - take the trim off, make sure all the clips are there, i had one missing causing a rattle... they fall out easily if you take your trim off so be carefull not to drop/loose any back area - check the roof lining, it unplugs parralell with the rear window, has steel clips, may be loose, put some kind of padding in there and reclip back in

this makes me feel good about my car, nothings really wrong with it like this, 1 or 2 rattles i've still gotta find , got rid of about 3 already... sometimes i have to look out the left hand window to see where i'm going when i go around a corner on boost.... i think thats my tyres tho

hmm any kind of boost control? well there has to be something that controls/limits the amount of boost stock cars can make - where is the line drawn? few people put holes in thier vacum hose so it acts like a bleed, is it illigal to have a pin prick hole in your vacum?

Had you tried changing your oil before this? It could of just been a change in oil that helped, or maybe the stuff you had in before wasn't very good and any decent oil may have helped.. just something to keep in mind

i liked it when i got my car, couple of mates go 'ahhh rice boy' i was like - whats rice about my GTR the GTR wheels? the GTR body kit? the GTR badges? its pretty much stock - so it can't be rice, that shut them up

snowman - sidewall flex? yeah that happens on tyres that don't have low profile as far as i know but with such low profile i can't imagine it being bad, the 245's i have don't sit right, you can see rim come out much futher than the tyre I'd suggest speaking to a couple of other tyre/performance experts before going back to 255's.... will be interested into what is best

shootout mode tries to make up for different losses on the dyno ... the good tuners i know of don't use it MSPEC - Ben doesn't use shootout mode, our dynos are non beefed up etc.. my 270kw would be closer to 300 on shootout mode...

where did you take it? how much did it cost? how long did it take? did you take the starter motor out then take it to an auto elec or what?

well 100mm is the legal hight in vic afaik cops will just say its too low when they feel like it - but when you take it to get the defect off its 100mm

Dave - you can just flash the original bios back to the TSOP if you like but yeah if you want to play xbox live then there is a lot of stuffing around, installing a switch for the chip, installing different bioses on the chip so you can boot of an orig bios, making sur eyour hard drive is locked, making sure you have a MS dashboard installed and running, installing all other stuff on F drive not on C/E etc... plus to play live you have to pay a montly fee and buy the original game... blah - just use xbconnect / xlink

dave - chips can come loose / dodgy soldering jobs / cause trouble tsops, once flashed can't go wrong... the only risk is in actually flashing them if you don't know what your doing - you can end up with a dead xbox... but once flashed there is no solder/wires/chip to come loose etc... the tsop is basically the bios for the xbox - all a modchip is, is a bios you put in instead of the microsoft one... and flash it with a custom/hacked one etc...
