My clutch probably doesn't have much life left in it - slips when i launch sometimes, as soon as its on its way out, ill be after a new clutch + lightened flywheel

Best thing to do with cops - esspecially if your in the wrong is just shut up and say nothing... all you have to do is give them your name/address if they ask for it and your license etc... anything else, details of the car/what your doing/who owns the car etc... you dont have to tell them most of the time the more you tell them the bigger hole you dig.. if the cop seems ok, you can be normal, but as soon as you detect he is going to be a dick etc, just shut up and say nothing...

Yeah garage would be nice, might just buy a gazebo type thing and put tarps over it/on side and park it in that out the back

Sounds like a good idea - would they be cheaper to make if you can just get it to output to a serial/usb connection so we can use directly with laptops? may make it cheaper thats all which model skyline ECU's does it work with?

Dust isn't so bad - if its only a little a wipe down with a cotten cloth will be fine... is sun/rain/elements i want to protect mine from

meshmesh: good points 1. EPA - whats the quarterly letter? is this taking the piss saying i'll be getting done for EPA's every few months? 2. Vic Police - stock blow off valve venting back into plumbing, no air intake mods - stock airbox, no boost controller/bleed valve 3. Petrol yes this is a killer - but i've got my car through a novated lease so all my petrol is pre-tax at least (along with maintenance, insurance, rego etc..) 4. Speeding fines - inevitable i'm sure - i've gone 3 weeks with my GTR without one yet - so i'm happy 5. City link = take off front numberplate - but i refuse to use a road that tax payers have already paid for. But yes i get where you are coming from - damn government!
