  1. Bump. I've updated the member rides page. http://www.sauvic.com.au/member_rides If anyone wants their picture added/updated/removed. Mail me - webmaster (at) sauvic (dot) com (dot) au
  2. The sensor behind your dash is unplugged. Can't remember exactly which one it is, but it's one of them that plug into the plastic dash surround. Pull it out and check everything is plugged in
  3. Handbrake works really well to rip DVD to xvid. It's free, made for mac and PC.
  4. What offset are your wheels? I'm guessing you have 18x9.5" +12 right? If so you shouldn't need spacers they should pretty much fill the guards. 20mm won't clear your stock studs completely. But the TE37 may have enough room where they bolt up to clear them. But i think 20mm on a 18x9.5" +12 will make the wheels stick way out. Check with an offset calculator (google).

  7. WTB: R33 Heatercore with the plastic ends that poke through the firewall into the engine bay. Just to clarify this is what i'm after.
  8. If someone wants to capture it, and get me the footage, i'll convert it and host it. Can see how many hits it gets to see if its worthwhile. Personally i don't think it will be but hey.
  9. Also depends on the offset of the wheels. But normally you should be able to run 285.
  10. Looks like both chris and snowy and co-drivers are doing well, up the pointy end in all events, no mistakes yet, looking pretty close between these 2 - hopefully they can keep up the consistency!
  11. It's the attesa reservoir... Power Steering fluid is used in it.

  17. Hey mate. First of all you need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated club, such as SAU Vic. You can join for $70 first year and $50/y after that. See this thread for info on joining. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...ber-t60590.html You will also need to get your cams L2S License - think it's about $95/year (from memory last time i renewed). See here for the form: http://cams.com.au/downloads/paperforms/20...Application.pdf Once you have these 2 things you can go to any club level track day you want. Plenty are run by different clubs. WRX Club, HSV Club, PIARC Club, MG Club etc... We (SAU Vic) run our track championship at WRX days. See this link for more info: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/20...-C-t203667.html Next SAU day is on 1st June at Sandown. These days cost around $150 give or take. As for what has to be done to your car, not a whole lot. You will need a fire extinguisher mounted in cabin (About $20 from kmart, autobarn, etc...) - I mount mine behind the passenger seat under where the legs of a rear passenger would sit. You also need pants, long sleeves and covered shoes. And of course a Helmet (ADR approved). Also make sure your car is in good condition - ie no oil leaks, working brake lights, all simple stuff that you should have sorted on your car just to drive it on the street See this link for more info about other events SAU Vic runs for its members: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/20...en-t198251.html If you want to have a look at some Club lap records and past motorsport championship results. Check these links: http://www.sauvic.com.au/lap_records http://www.sauvic.com.au/motorsport_championship Hope this helps
  18. I'm pretty sure Jack did a 1.49 without 5th gear when he blew it that time. In fact, here is the video of him doing it:) http://sau.ferni.net/Jacksvids/PI_31_03_07b1.wmv Ohhhh hang on, you mean do it in 4th gear without shifting to 2nd/3rd... hahahah that would be interesting...
  19. You can get a copy of the excel files from this page: http://www.sauvic.com.au/motorsport_championship I see you as a 02:08.1 at PI on the 12/03/05.... Same day Ant did a 2.07

  21. We've just added a few new pages to the sauvic website and thought some of you may like to know. Track Day Lap Records - These are the lap records for each class from our official run motorsport championship which goes back to 2005. There are plenty of records that could be easily beaten in some classes. http://www.sauvic.com.au/lap_records Motorsport Championship results - This is the archive of past and current motorsport championships. Winners of each class etc... You could be the next on the list - check out the motorsport championship if your interested. http://www.sauvic.com.au/motorsport_championship DECA Championship results - Results from the last 2 DECA Series championships. http://www.sauvic.com.au/deca_championship Have a look at the above pages - you may already be listed If i've made any mistakes/miss you out of a record you think should be yours - please let me know.
  22. Special Racepace suspension
  23. I don't think people will stop driving, more people will just be more conscious of fuel efficiency. More people will ride scooters/bikes. Car enthusiasts like us, will probably keep our cars for play, but not drive them often - not when its going to cost us $200 in fuel every time we take it out.
  24. Racepace make and sell them. They look very similar to that.
  25. Don't stagger. Keep same sized tyres all the way around. ATTESA doesn't like different rolling diameter tyres. As for wheel width. You can go to 10.5" ... There are even some 11" wheels that fit. Depends on the offset and tyres of course. 18x10.5" +12,+15 or +18 will all fit perfect.
