  2. Hey, can I ask how do I check whether mine's a V10 or before.......... I have no idea when mine was made. But if its compatible, I'll take it
  3. Do you have the S badge on the grill? If not, what kind of grill do you have. Need a replacement as mine was badged recently *sigh* Thanks
  4. G'day All, Paulr33. Thanks for your feedback. I have done several searches across multiple forums, just being proactive and also asking out for any help. But yes, valid point in making sure everything is ok. The officer last night, stated that I was co-operative, so don't have to go for a roadworthy, but basically aside from the exhaust, everything else is stock anyway! As for where in Springvale rd. Between whitehorse and canterbury I think........ I believe it was the infamous one....... that has often been bantered around here in these forums. *sigh*
  5. Hey Guys, Driving along Spingvale rd this evening just after midnight, when a highway patrol officer, pulled me over. To cut a long story short, swollowed my pride, and was as courteous as I could be. But $169 fine and defect later, I'm now in need of a stock R33 GTST cat back exhaust. Does anyone have one for sale in Melbourne, as I need to clear the defect like in two weeks. I've posted this in the Wanted section, tho, I call on my Victorian colleagues to help me out. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...508#post1314508 If anyone can help me out, can you please call me on 0400 444 913 Thanks heaps guys!
  6. Hey Guys, Well its finally happen to me. $169 dollars later and a defect notice, need to revert back to a stock exhaust system. Does anyone have a stock R33 GTST cat back exhaust for sale? I'm in SE Melb, and my defect needs to be cleared like in 2 weeks! Can any one help me? Call me on 0400 444 913 Thanks!
  7. Hey doxximus Know exactly what you mean, as mine is a daily driver, getting complacent about the whole import thing. Hmm, perhaps a track day is something i need........ but i better do it soon, just saw a nice audi a4 for sale in the trading post *gulp*
  8. ps, as stated earlier......... the implication of these losers, who chooses to be dic(khead on our roads, is that everybody gets pinged. Expect most people here will get pulled over in the near future. I know I'm bracing myself for it. Yes its a knee jerk reaction, but at the moment, I don't see any other way But until people's attitude changes, we're all phucked because of this minority group. Phuck it, I've been toying with the idea for a while now, think I may put my car on the market. Anybody interested in a R33 gtst???
  9. Ok, I've read through all posts here, and concur many valid points have been made. But can I ask you guys honestly, you say its all about responsibility and that its ok to drive a turbo car, once we have the experience behind us..... experience to know how to handle the car, and the responsibility of when to use it. (i.e. track days etc) But let, me ask everyone of you here? Who honestly believes they have total control over that car. I most certainly do not. Now I'm 24 and have been driving since I was 16, owned my gtst since I was 23. So all in all, the more safer route in owning a turbo (well at least according to this forum) What however erks me, is that the more mature ones here, self rightously proclaim that they're not the irresponsible ones...... that they are not to blame for the tarnished image of the imports scene. I guarantee, that each and every one of you have fanged their car, illegally on our streets, I know I've done it.....so how can you condemn just the young, its all of us, that have pissed the authorities off....... I guess my point is, these things will always occur, when people's ego get in the way. The arrogance of people who believe they're invincible... Like watching today tonight, they interviewed some redneck who was quoted on national television saying "you live hard and you play hard" obviously a sound bite reporters were looking for. Now what the phuck is with attitude......... Oh well, so as a community, I think we need to weed these no hopers out.... stop making it cool, to drag race, drifting on public roads is for try hards who need to tear around a corner, to compensate for their tiny di(k. Spread the word gentleman, as narky said, illegal behaviour in an import will no longer be tolerated!
  10. Hi, Have upgraded to a new system, so looking to sell my cat back exhaust. Its for a R33 gtst Ideal for compliancing. Let me know. Looking for 230 or near offer. Thanks. Located in SE Melb. Steve
  11. Hey All, Thanks for your input, and thanks Scotty for showing me your car. Nice ride dude, love the rims. Anyway, tried calling motorware and they don't have them for Skylines. Only for Honda Civics and the like.........Guess there's a greater rice market for these cars. Oh well, still keen to get these, I guess depending on how the auctions go, I'll get it from there. Thanks again all for your comments.
  12. G'day All, Hey, I've searched around on these forums, and have seen several posts raving about these new EL dials for R33's. I think guys here such as pushead and scotty have these, and have read their thoughts on what they're like Well, I found a set of these on eBay here, http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=2446012735 So my question is, is it worth it? Fortunately I'm in Melb too, and also have an auto........so far so good. The one on offer also, has less km's then mine too so yeah, its all good. Just wanted your guys thoughts before I place a bid an all. Cheers!
