Hey ... Ouch .... Sure wish you had made contact and askd before your purchase Tim, as mine will be $565 ( and if you had purchased 8 I could have done for around $430 - 450 ea. I have 6 arriving toward the end of November with more R32 and also a few R33's ( 6 ) All the ones I carry, I have had to have made especially for Motorsport Windscreens. These are NOT from any previous or current dealings with Ricky Evans at all, ( Not that I have ever purchased any screens through him ) I would not associate myself with him in any way .... Serious racers .... or even half serious ! Being able to see at all times, will always be paramount in my view Not sure how I can help Tim but I'll buz ya ....

Hey .... That's good to hear Brad. The S15 one I sold was a very neat fit also ( And so it should be ! ) Have a few running already .... Andrew Mc'phersons Lotus Exige is using one and already, used it at the Wakefeild 300. Having a batch made made for his Mosler too. For what it's worth the Lotus Exige drew 8.8 amps. Got a few in the NA Motorsport Evo 9 & V Sport Evo 10's at Super Lap ( If any one wants to check them out ) looks like they won't need to use them after driving 2500 klm's to deliver to NA Motorsport .... Again .... One other thing which may interest. I shall have available " Tear Offs " simular to the V8 Taxis etc. There will be very little loss of vision / clarity, but will prolong the life of the screen, and stop the sand blasting effect experienced with long term use or long distance races. Obviously this will not stop rocks, but will assist in the overall longevity of the screens life .... Cheers .... Del

Hi .... Recomendations fitting / installation etc .... I must stress that I'm advised correct installation is very important. It is advised to put at least one if not more layers of a decent sealer, i.e. a coat of your best nail varnish would be good ~ .... Ok the wifes then. Completely cover the edges of the glass and don't just depend on the windscreen sealer doing it's job used by the installer ( As there can be times when no visable leaks will be seen inside the cabin, as the water may just be sitting in there hidden from veiw and gradually seeping between the two layers of glass ) Premature failure with water seeping / getting between the two layers of glass is common if not sealed correctly, causing a failure of the elements. This type of failure is NOT covered by any warrantee issued with the screens ( six months on the element from date of supply ) An inline fuse of 20 amp must also be used in conjunction with say a LED indicator/switch visable by the driver. Hi Rich Thanks for your kind words. What I lost was all I had so the Evo is being shelved for the time being. You for one, know I can't / couldn't afford for that to happen ! I have an account with DHL and was quoted to send it to Dunedin by the cheapest most economical service available ( 4 - 5 days, door to door ) they have quoted $264 AU freight inc insurance. Screen cost with no GST charge, as it's leaving the country .... $535 To send sea freight would be cheaper buy incure the wrath of all sorts of other mandated charges when going consolodated cargo. If there is any way you know or any one who ships to NZ from here who may somehow help out I can deliver to any freight forwarding agent in Sydney for $0 if it helps ? Thanks for your interest .... Packing two sandwiched together and encased in re-inforced Fibre Glass cover / or simular in expanding foam filled box. I can get to Brisbane for approx $ $25 - $30 with local couriers .... Having said this I have a freind who may have room on his truck to take there for free, as he is competing at Lakeside within a few days / this weekend, so I'd have to know " Very Soon " but would require collecting form Lakeside ? I have yet to ask him but this may well be an option. As for the other Heated Screen thread .... Could the mods possibly combine these together, as I have indicated in the more recent one that the current supply cost is $535 + GST .... The original one being $495 + is no longer available and was only for the guy;s who came in on it originally. This may stop any confusion for anyone with furhter interest in an R32 screen. Current price will remain till the end of the year, even if I have to replenish stock, as our exchange rate looks like staying for a while .... Hey .... You have it in one .... Removing all associated parts that operate the heating / demister system can relieve a race car of some 22 + kg, depending on fluid etc, even the plastic air ducting can come out ! A serious racer would kill to loose a further 20 + kgs when cars reached it limits with weight saving. Apart from that it also pretty re-assuring at speed to see where ones going .... Ultimately you will never encounter a fogged up screen again .... In the Old Bucket I own I lost 24 kg .... Wish getting simular weight off my ever increasing side profile was that easy CheeRS .... Hi Guy's Update .... All screens are paid for ( Well not cleared funds, but I'm sure very soon ) Each person should have theirs within a few days with the exception Sav Man and Paul in VIC who's will be slightly longer. For those who know the drama's I experienced getting these ( Basically lost 23k ) so much for your extended patience and support of Motorsport Heated Windscreens. It's sure been a very difficult 4 months ! I have a few other Nissans ( S15 ) out there already, and the customers are well pleased with the product. Very happy to say I now have on order limited stocks of the R33 which arrive very soon ( 3 weeks ) and a little later the R34. Costs for the R33 will be $592 + GST as these are being air freighted .... I have absorbed as much as I can of the air freight in the current price. As for the R34 .... Will be available at very close to $556 + GST but will come by sea shortly. Freight will be quoted as inquires arrive I have only four R32 screens available now ! Depending on further inquiries with these models .... I should be able to keep stock of all the R-32 - 34 models. Again Thanks Cheers .... Del
