  1. its prob not that easy to do, although i've never tried... i have a tv hu, and unless your going for the "13tvs in the car" effect you prob wont need it..? your front and rear passengers can see the tv hu fine, unless u have like electronic gauges displaying on the tv or something. then it might be worthwhile adding an extra tv for movies or music videos...
  2. yeh exacto mondo! it should drop at least 1k next yr though so that will be good
  3. not as insane as no insurance i HATE insurance but as someone previously noted, 'if you cant afford the car and insurance, then you cant afford the car' its the lesser of two evils

just checked nengun u can get this trick little electronic controller that looks like the Apexi turbo timer but actually controls the ecv, you can adjust manually or set it to open at certain rpm so u can set it to open fully at say 5k rpm, imagine the roar! just like the ferrari 360 modena's exhaust system.. pretty damn sweet!
  5. thanks for all the help guys i will definately give him a call this week, dan

i heard u have to turn the little knob thingy like a million times to get it to open and close, is this the case? and is it adjustable?? also don't u have to cut a bit out of the exhaust system so it fits??
  9. thanks for the info duncan & dirt garage, im hoping all it needs is new rotors, pads and maybe a rebuild kit! dan
  10. thanks chris, i got his details off that tread, but im not sure about brant's short range on keyless entry... does he install other alarms/immobilisers too??? also is it a big issue getting an alarm to work along side a tt, or is it no big deal at all???? cheers
  11. im just curious because i've driven about 15 different R32 GTR's this month trying to find my new car and they all seem to have very...'weak' brakes. what i mean is, the cars stop fine, but really need quite a lot of pressure on the pedal. i have just come from driving a 04rex so i'm guessing a more advanced power assisted brake system is whats making the difference? or all the GTR's i've been driving need new pads and rotors and caliper rebuilds???? dan
  12. get some fat thick hard rubber from clark rubber or similar place and shove it in the rubber exhaust mounting loops to raise the exhaust hooks up a bit.. should work well to pass defect at least for a quick cheap fix...
  13. hey anyone have any recommendations for a alarm/immobiliser and installer in sydney?? i'm hoping to get a Greddy turbo timer installed to work with the alarm also... any help anyone???? cheers dan

  19. i'm planning to go on this very very shortly... http://www.murcotts.com.au/2004/frame.asp?...ot=Programs.asp also know of Ian Luff, have met him once a couple of years ago, he is a top bloke, also he was one of the judges on Australias worst driver, that show on a while ago. 20. hahaha oooops i always get those two confused! i agree with most on this tread, GTR seats are definately the way to go. much easier and cheaper to throw in than rex seats, and you will probably get less hastle from coppers, there's something about rex seats that just makes them stand out in other cars... plus GTR seats are nissan so you could prob get away with it without them hastling you too much... personally i love rex seats, they just hug you so much~! but GTR seats hug u even more! you honestly dont move at all.. if your a medium build and fit snugly in rex seats and want a bit more hold without being uncomfortable then you will love GTR seats... the other day i sat in some fixed racing buckets in a GTR straight from japan, i honestly couldnt even get my ass in them, i was suspended in the air, sitting on the sides! hahaha those asians have small bums

  24. you can get generic ones from ebay theyre about $150 the one pictured is a genuine sparco one, they are about $550!!
  25. prob not too hard, will definately need some custom welding etc to make the plates for rails to bolt to floor, then will need to be engineered unless u like defects.. seats will prob cost u $500, install $300 and eng. cert. $4-500 justjap had a pair of STi seats last time i was there, but your in QLD... might be worth calling them anyway? theyre in syd btw
