its one of those things where the lingo gets confusing... dump pipes are really the first part of the exhaust that the turbo bolts onto. this part is where there are usually 2 pipes that join a bit further on in the pipe. one is smaller, for the wastegate, and one is larger for the turbine exhaust gasses. here's a pic for a r32 gtr: the dump pipes or 'extension' pipes bolt on to the 'front' pipe. front pipe comes after the dump, and before the cat. heres a pic, also for r32 gtr: the pic CRAVED posted is a dump and front pipe all in one. it shouldn't matter if its 2 or 1 piece and will differ from car to car, make to make. hope that helps dan

congrats lw! mine is almost back in too! should have it back tomorrow or monday..however i got a exedy hd not jim berry clutch, which i am a bit sad about but if the exedy is sh!t the next one will be a JB clutch... lw: i didnt think there was such a thing as old petrol? or have i been living under a rock?? im just curious as my car will have 5 week old petrol when i pick it up, and i need to know if i should be laying off the throttle till i get a fresh tank?? i mean, i would have thought it would take more than 4 weeks for the petrol to get from the refinery to the petrol station?

sure you might get $60 for 400kms on a NA. but for an extra $20/tank in a turbo you can do those 400kms so much faster!

hhmmmm let me see...since i bought it 4 weeks and 7 days ago, my gtr has cost me... car $26k new rotors & pads all round $1500 new clutch $1500 upcoming costs in next 4 weeks registration transfer fee $1000 alarm $1000 insurance $3000 new coilovers $2000 + mods $infinity so all up $26k + $10k =$36k wow i didnt even realise it was costing that much and ive only actually had the car for 1 day before it went into the shop! this sux!!!

only get genuine ones like nismo or c's etc the problem is they do get very tough and eat the synchros, i had a custom made one in the rex but took it out when it started to crunch when slotting into first

also try platinum car audio and interiors, they do very high quality work theyre in rydalmere. master auto trim are also very very good
