yeh i see it working heaps when i take off in a straight line, but hardly at all in corners, but i guess i havent been going sideways! i did do a massive fishy, tail went out to right, then left, then right again, then straightened up but i think that was just the tyre black on new tyres.??

i'm guessing its a digital odo. i've heard many many cases of this with digital odo's all of a sudden they jump like 100-200K kms!!! this is the result of the odo catching up on its true reading after being electronically wound back. some sydney siders may remember a dealership name B** B*** Toys, rhymes with Fig Joys Toys, on parramatta rd broadway. heard of lots of cases from them... i'd suggest making sure your car has all the things replaced/repaired that should normally be done for a car with your 'new' odo reading, the rest is up to you! everyone should be aware that realistically, every single jap import has had the clock wound back. i've just bought a r32 gtr with 80k on the clock, its a 15yr old car, theres no way thats legit! just do the maths 20k kms/yr 15yrs 300,000kms and that myth that japs dont/cant drive very much is crap, japs drive as much as we do!

sorry, by 'they' i meant the people who invented the name. as some of the names i listed are not jap. yeh i'm sure they are prob quite off, im just saying what i know, i'm not japanese, but my 'pronounciation key' is just a guide from what i know, its not supposed to be worthy of webber, just contributing to the forum, but i think you get the drift... its not law either so by all means correct me where im wrong, i'm always happy to be corrected! dan

oh and although Greddy is suppsed to be grrr-eddy i still say G-ready cos it sounds better imo actually i remember reading somewhere or on a motoring video the guy who started it, his name is eddy or something like that, and its integrated into the name of the brand...i'll see if i can dig up the history or watever

from what i underdstand... name - how they pronounciate it - how i say it Rotora - Ro-ta-rah - ro-tor-a Bride - Bree-doo - breed Ruf (German tuner) - roof - Rough Eibach - I-Bock - E-bahk Tanabe - Tah-Nah-Beh - ta-nah-bee Tein - tain - tee-N (means TEchnical INnovation) Defi - def-ee - def-ee (french for challenge) 5Zigen - Go-Zee-gen - five-zee-gen (means 5th dimension) Apexi - apeh-ku-shu - apeks-e (actually called apexera. i stands for integration for non-japan distribution) fujitsubo - foo-Gee-tsu - fu-jit-su-bo cusco - koos-ko - koos-ko impreza - im-press-ah - im-preZ-ah (not that u guys really care) mcdonalds - mak-doo-nah-rooh - maccas thats all i have for now, i've got more just cant remember them all

dont forget that it wont work while driving.. no anti skip! i heard somewhere that they are gonna make a car ps2 or probably ps3 since its coming out in a couple of months... that would be fun!
-
so how much boost does a stock GTR run??? and how much can a (stock internals) GTR run?
-
yehthat tv looks nice! i think the best place in a 33 for a ps2 is prob the boot if not in glovebox... but then again, you have to get out to change cds i was gonna put one of the new little ps2's with flip up cd lid in the fold down armrest in back of rexy, but didnt end up doing it... wireless remotes, and all that crap,, would have been mad

hey dude, dont think we dont think its a good idea, we're just letting u know of things u might have overlooked, thats the whole reason your asking on the forums right? i think its alright, just probably easy to *** up and cost quite a bit to get done professionally. i have a headunit tv in my car, i wanted one real real bad, then i got one, dropped 2.5k on the alpine touch screen, after about a week the novelty wore off and i wanted to sell it. i still have it, but i wouldnt buy one again, unless i was spending 20k on a full show install and wanted to go all out... i would suggest get the tv hu if thats what u want, put the ps2 in the car, (make sure u spend $300 getting a true sine wave power invertor, cos the $70 ones die in 3 months) then think about if u really need the tv in the dash, maybe a roof mount or one in the boot lid if you have a boot install would be better?? dan
-
i have no problem with that, just would rather i didnt have to claim in the first place!
-
low price - low kms should be low price - high kms or high price - low kms if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is... ie if it sounds so good that u almost dont believe it, then its probably dodgy!
-
of course you have to look at policies, they might be doing you sideways and you wouldnt even know it unless u read the fine print. just sometimes theres no other option but to pay big $
-
i spose they did go into receivorship when the price was lower for installation, i guess this is the new owner's implementation to keep the co. running this time
