  1. So the problem was the fuel lines were around the wrong way. Everything I read on the net said they were supposed to be the other way around but oh well, works now.
  2. Ill check, but I doubt it is the timing as I saw the engine running in the donor car before it came out and nothing timing related has been changed.
  3. So I bridged both immobilisers to take them out of the equation and now the car cranks over but it doesn't start. I have confirmed the fuel lines are the correct way around, I have taken the cas out and turned manually and can hear the injectors click I also pulled out a coil pack with spark plug and can see a spark plug spark also when I turn the cas. Any ideas what the problem could be?
  4. Yes, as far as I'm aware should be a simple swap, just swap over knuckles with rotors and calipers attached. Might want to swap over the brake master cylinder as well if its different.
  5. Hey guys looking for a bit of help or suggestions here, I have recently put a rb25det neo into my r32 sedan, wired it all up turned the key, the fuel pump primes but the starter motor does not turn over, click or do anything at all. There is no 12v going through the starter signal wire when I turn the key to start, I have checked the voltage at the starter motor signal wire connector and the signal wire pin behind the battery and these are both 0v when the key is turned to start. There is 12v going through the starter signal wire where it comes out of the ignition barrel and at the starter fuse when I turn the key to start, so I guess somewhere between the starter signal fuse and the engine bay there is something stopping the signal. The r32 was originally auto and converted to manual so the inhibitor plug behind the battery is bridged, the neo and loom was from an auto r34, simon-s14 spliced the loom for me, it is running a manual r34 gtt ECU and the car has a mongoose m60 alarm/immobiliser which seems to be functioning correctly. I'm not really sure what to check next to try and sort this out. If anyone has any ideas where to start that would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,
  6. For sale are a set of 4 Work Equip 05 wheels with tyres. They have dark grey coloured centres and chrome lips. I am after $2990 ONO The wheel and tyre sizes are: 19x9.5 +22 5x114.3 with 235 35 19 Nankang Ultra Sport NS-II 19x10.5 +12 5x114.3 with 245 35 19 Nankang Ultra Sport NS-II These 3 piece wheels are not only super rare but are also in immaculate condition. They do not have any gutter rash on the lips and the centres have been freshly painted. The tyres have heaps of tread left on them (approx 90%) I am happy to package these up for a courier to collect if the buyer organises the courier If you have any questions 0413 nine eight zero 031
  7. Still got the coilpacks? any pics? condition? how many k's did they do while they were on your car?
  8. im using the cheap copper ngk ones now, before i had iridium bosch ones and before that had some platinum ones, but they were all gapped at 1.1mm and its always been fine. maybe ill try gapping them down to 0.8mm and see what happens. Cheers,
  9. I think I have fixed my problem. What i did was take the afm out and spray some non residue leaving degreaser stuff through it and let it dry. plugged it all back in and at first it ran even worse but then i reset the ecu and it was all good. back to Better than normal. Hopefully it is all good now.
  10. i think 21 is ignition signal and 23 is idle switch
  11. using 1.1mm gap on the spark plugs im running stock boost though. The car ran perfectly running 1.1mm before it started having this problem.
  12. i changed my fuel filter today as well with the new plugs. Ill try and find some coilpacks i can test out. Cheers,
  13. Changed the spark plugs this arvo still dies when it hits about 3k revs under load. Not sure what it might be. maybe coil packs or afm?????? any ideas anyone cheers,
  14. a mate reckons its the spark plugs as well, ill chuck in a new set on the weekend and check out the coil packs and vacuum hoses and afm. hopefully that sorts it out. Cheers
