Thanks guys from what you've given me i think i'm leaning more to the r32's especially after i've seen that pic of nark and two other black r32s lol I guess i'll now just have to go test drive and make myself a couple of last decisions... BTW as a last question... wat year is good to go for? and what is the newest yr you can get a 32 in? last but not least how much would this yr model be selling for through an importer? Thanks guys Chris

Hmm lol just noticed something everyone or the two or three ppls that have offered their cars up for sale are all 33's lol... what are you guys changing too and why don't you want your 33's nemore? Chris

Thanks guys gives me a bit to think about, and a bit more cleared up too, would you say taking corners on the 32 is alot easier or just a lil coz of its size... and how does the 33 and 32 compare to each other in handling in general?

Hey guys hows it goin? Well i'm on the verge to start looking at buying myself a skyline... now here's the part everyone is goin to groan at.... and yes i have done searches through the site. R33 or r32? i think the r33's are a bit common but on stock they are a bit faster on the quater mile have more room and are more rounded. The r32s are a sharper looking car, more agressive, however on stock are a bit slower and smaller room wise. What dya recon?.... i'm looking for something that drives and handles well as well as looks good and has a bit of room.... on that note is the r32 too small to fit in say 4 ppls on the rare occasion? Any details, pictures would be a great help in choosing a car based on the look and handling and speed of the car. P.S anything to look out for when searching through the showrooms? BTW this is my first performance car so..... whether that makes much of a difference:D:D Thanks

I was considering at one stage and still am just settling for a GTSt and putting in a second turbo some time down the track... becuase although i can push and shove for the GTR i still have to forke out the money for the insurance regarless of who's name it is under and not 100% confident about my ability to handle a GTR, i'm confident just not 100% What dya think is it stuipid to go buy a GTSt and put in a second turbo some time down the track if i can get the GTR? Don't forget i have to pay for the insurance regarless of who's name it is under and i'm on my P's btw Thanks

But with high Kms could if you were gonna rip apart the engine and make everything real nice like all the bits and pieces would the KMS really matter then?

Thanks:D -
well see the thing is i was just wondering if cops will be looking out for high performance cars and well i have two options get a GTR straight out or get a GTSt and then trade in the GTSt and get a GTR when i 'm off my P's What dya recon would i get busted? Or would you say as long as i'm not speeding or the cops don't have a reason to pull me over i'd be fine? Or i'm i sure to get busted? Thanks
-
Gotta rich father who i'd be doin the GTR up with.. just wondering tho... i'm only gonna be on my P's when we've gone thru the engine and done wateva else to it... should i wait until i'm off my P's to drive the GTR or can i escape gettin busted?

Building and Servicing R33 Engines

Thanks:D -
thanks for all that guys... Have to say thats a shit load of food for though... i always thought the 32s were that lil bit faster..... one last thign i wanna clear up... if you were to take the same cornersay an 75 degree turn, approaching as fast as you could with both cars the 32 would kick arse or is that an overstatement ~Chris

Why do you say go with the one that i like the looks of? Why'd you choose the r32?
-
hey guys since most of ya prolly know more a heap more than i do about these beautiful cars i was wondering if you could help me out a lil..... Whats the difference betweeen the r32 and r33... no not the obvious things like r33s are bigger and more rounded, or r 32s go faster..... Here are a few things i was wondering 1. If u put in a gts25t in both the r32 and r33 how much more say KW would you get outta the r32 ... i.e how many kw does the r33 churn out and the r32 with a similar engine 2. i know i've seen heaps of mad lookin r33 but you don't see many really stunning r32s anyone found any picks which can match or better the r33s or someone just show me a really nice looking r32 3. and one other thing... the insides of an r32 compared to an r33 is there much of a difference? i know in the end your likely to put in newer systems and tuners etc... but just at the base models 4 any other things i've might like to know See... right now my uncle and i are about to build and engine.... and my problem is which car do i want it for the r32 or the r33... if you goin for looks PERSONALLY i like the r33 but i need to know if the difference in speed between the two are that much of a difference to compromise for the looks Thanks heaps guys ~Chris
