Hey people i need to replace my coil pack leads / ignition leads . Can i get some advice on what's good / bad and what prices i should be considering? I have a r34 with a rb25de non turbo engine . Im in Melbourne. Thanks Guys!! Anu

Hey , nah mine were HID lights, they didn't take them out and replace them with regular H1's on compliance. Yes they do clamp down by a wire and get plugged into the igniter.

UPDATE! just bought some globes of a local dude 30 bucks for the pair. Score! they were D2C's the base had cuts in them to fit both D2R and D2S. I only replaced the right one cus it had blow and to also see what the new ones were like, they are only a tad brighter than the left hand side one probs because the left one is old and is dying out. Whoa thanks for the replies guys , so i did more research and i found that no auto stores stock them , i need em asap so yes ebay it will have to be I looked on ebay and there are some that have D2R and D2S and from what iv read is that D2R have a reflector shielding to reduce glare and the D2R dont, yet they say they will both fit in the car. If i settle for the D2S i should be alright i rekon. Any thoughts? Thanks Anu

Hey guys , I have a stock r34 however the previous owner in japan seemed to installed a HID kit in the car. Yesterday my light had blown and so when i went to replace i discovered it was a weird looking bulb.( See below) Can someone please tell me if the globe i have is a regular xenon globe or is called something else, and where possibly i could get them? Im located in Melbourne Also if i do find a pair and they are 55w does it matter if put them in, even though the one i took out was a 35W bulb? Many thanks in advance Anu

Hey guys , so heres the scenario, i just got my r34 gt around a month ago, 2 days ago the check engine light turned on and i automatically thought crap.. my coil packs are gone , but i did a bit of research on the skylines forums and found out you can diagnose the car by placing a bridging the ECU with a pin and reading the number of flashes that the engine light shows, so i did that and it read 55. So now i am a bit confused as per what the problem is. The check engine light comes on sometimes at the beginning of the journey , sometimes 15 minutes in and sometimes not at all. Also does any one actually know if bridging the ecu gives us a valid result ? Thanks in advance

Yeh i never thought of using that but i dont wouldnt know if it would stick to it , plus i think it would be hard to find correct shade, worth a shot if ur going to use it in a hidden spot to test it , n if it doesnt work at least u wont have to stare at it all the time, and yeh karma's a Bitch

Hey guys , so iv got a little problem, the interior of my car the panels that surround the cd player and cigarette lighter and stuff have been scratched over a while, im just wondering if there is an easy way to repair the scratches without having to replace the panels. Hey im also thinking about getting a Skyline r 34 1998 model the guy says its only done 60000 k's on it and i find it hard to believe that over 12-13 years its done so less. But if what adam 87 said was correct then thats awesome. What other info did u get from the Skyline V's forum , i was searching but couldn't find it. :S
