  3. Thanks for clarifying Trex!! Im sure there are a few good blokes there, and a few bad ones same as everywhere. Cant say i have had any good dealings with them...
  4. Pretty sure even imports already registered in act still have to go over there. Might be wrong. Will ask rego chappie at work tomorrow!
  5. Yeah. Interesting that dickson is only 10 days for reinspection as the legislation is either 28 or 30 days (cant remember exactly) for everywhere else. Powertrippers. That looks like a nice s15 though, tasteful mods (im a sucker for mca's lol)
  6. That looks amazing!! Should work really well too!!
  7. Oh well, at least you have a spare!!
  8. What pedal box did you go with?
  9. I can do it, or you can do it lol. If its only surface corrosion its easy as lol
  10. This depends on which 2jz (vvti or non-vvti) wiring loom you have. The 2j loom only needs a handful of wires to make it run. From memory theres maybe 3 wires that need to run to ignition, one constant 12v, and you need to run a new relay for the m-rel which needs constant power and three of the wires out of the body plug. The fuel pump trigger is the hardest as the toyotas run a fuel pump ecu. Using a tachometric relay is the safest way around this. http://wilbo666.pbworks.com/w/page/37092272/Wiki%20-%20wilbo666 is the best page for 2jz diagrams. Make sure you read and understand the m-rel page otherwise you will always have idle issues!!! Good luck and please make a build thread
  11. Fair enough, that would make it heaps easier. Doubt they would sit at the same angle but you never know...
  12. Depends if you are handy with a welder as i doubt theres any off the shelf brackets for that conversion. Not having ever really looked at where the barra mounts are i would sit the motor + box in the car where you want them to sit, then bolt a steel plate where the factory engine mount bracket bolts to, and one onto the old engine mount. I would then measure or template the space in between the two plates and cut either some more steel plate or some box section to fit snug in the space and tack them while they are still in the car. Weld together and away you go.
  13. Wow that was lucky lol. Black/white plates look the biz!!
  14. Simple headunit installs are good!! Fyi cube cvt is different to micra if you ever have a problem with it. Not by much but different enough to make life difficult. Is there much available from nismo for these things?
  15. Haha nothing is wrong with having two, you just dont know which one to spend money on!!
  16. Yeah good, I will have a look at it today when i go see adrian
  17. Yeah fair enough lol Im sure the gtr was "just a few little things" in the beginning too haha
