if you pay for my paint job i will gladly defect. it was a very nice colour and if i had the cash i'd consider it. he doesn't visit the forums as he doesn't have a computer though.

last night we went to Terrigal for a drive and at one of the stops a Blue GTS-T followed us. we had a chat, decent guy. he has resprayed it from black to a very sexy blue. some of you will see it on one of our upcoming cruises as he was keen to join us. the only shame about his car was it's ride height. was way too high as he can't get into his driveway as it is so no chance of lowering it. ot will look the goods lowered.
  4. is it modded at all or completely stock? i gather by your lack of detail it is completely stock and in which case you might be asking for too much. then again i haven't seen the car to judge on it's condition. it has low k's and if it's in very good nick (as in, close to factory with minimal wear) then you might just find yourself a buyer who's after a quality stock GTS-T. your price is negotiable though (like everything else) so when a buyer sees $20,900 they automatically think $19,000 or there-abouts so i wouldn't lower the price too much as you will loose some negotiating power. anyhoo, good luck:)
  5. brendanf, good point. as far as my understanding goes, we are principally united by these forums. end of story looking further into it- consistencies in all states such as stickers, shirts & name variations (eg. Skylines Australia NSW - Skylines Australia VIC etc). this pretty much covers our identity to the public thus portraying an image of a nationaly collective group other consistencies, like the club charter, code of conduct & terms and conditions, also show that we are of the same organisation albeit a seperate entity. small discrepancies in the club charter will arise due to the different laws each state enforces.

  10. something you wanna share with us?
  11. one of the biggest benifits of a club is the fact that you will be covered by public liability insurance, as a collective, when going out on these meets. no club = no insurance = possibly big law suits
  12. am i reading this right or is there a catch birty. are you now admiting the whale id flashy??? Smoothline, as birty said above, drive em both and you will make up your mind. have you owned a turbo car b4?
  13. you have to ask yourself why you are getting a skyline. a) for looks = 34 B) performance/fun factor = 33 very simple.
  14. in this thread there are arguments as to why it is not viable to have a national club. cost of travel to meeting and legal issues pertaining to insurance (as each state has different laws and requirements) makes it too hard to run it at a national level. who is going to take time off work to fly/drive across the country for a non-profit organisation which is just a social organisation for the most part. i mean, get serious, we are not making money here so who's gonna put in the effort at a national level. can you tell me what benifits we will have at a national level? have you spoken to a government body about this or another club that is national? well, we have and it just isn't worth it. one other thing to remember is that we are a national club with state chapters in all aspects aside from the legal. that is why each chapter will be called 'Skylines Australia NSW' or 'Skylines Australia VIC' etc with the same club charter and code of conduct barring some small differences due to different state laws. by all means though, please go out and do your own research.
