are you in NZ or Oz? we use the Uniden $99 one and they do the job. it's good for 3km line of sight, but buildings do get in the way.

yeah that's mine. they did some developement on it way back before i bought it. i can't honestly tell you how good it handles as you really have to try it for yourself. but believe me, you will crack 2min at ec. they had my car on serious performance 5 where they tested different levels of modded up cars. mine was on level 1 from a total of 5 and it beat them all on the track but not on the dyno. this tells you that the suspension was a contributing factor. the suspension just makes the drive so much more fun too
