spoke to my mechanic today. he plugged in a stock chip and the car ran fine. it is definately the chip. now listen to this, spoke to my insurance co and he got me thinking that the panel shop has spiked my electricals. the turbo timer spiked as you guys know and i wouldn't be surprised if the ecu did too. i'll find out tomorrow when tim tries to tune it. the idiots probably tried to jump start my car from the battery. how stupid can you be. you do not surge an efi car with leads you fools. :evil: it looks like they might have to buy me a new pfc. :mrgreen: and test all electricals. fingers crossed. over

fuel has been treated with octane booster. heard from tim@bd4's today. said it's the ecu and it needs to go on the dyno. will be done tomorrow. denham, i know what you mean about the fuel but a bit of booster fixes the problem in most situations

steve, all the vp fuels with a high ron do contain lead which is a shame. i'm sure the cat or your oxygen sensors will not like you using these fuels at all. don't quote me but i remember hearing that c-10 is ok to use. again, don't quote me. i posted the vp's as a point of reference for john.
