  1. Yeah, that way they get more $$$. Do you want to call them tomorrow and ask what would be the problem with taking out event permits if we are national. NSW office 9635 1366
  2. What's that Skyzerr? "Post Whore" he he HUSTLR will take it out, no probs.
  3. URMINE, we're not jumping in the deep end with digital printers or anything like that. It'll just be your run of the mill printing shop using those big loud machine. My dad has a friend that's been in the trade since he was a young lad (about 25 years experience) who's willing to go in with him. He's part of the reason we are giving this a go. Should be a while away though. Gotta be careful with these things.
  4. Independant. We've got the capital and the printing machines you can't really loose on as they are an asset and easily resellable. The only problem would be building up a customer base. Just doing research at the moment. I'm really in it to get closer to my old man. Not that we're not close already. Who knows, something might come of it. You just have to take the risk.
  5. Shell, now I get why you're the sticka chick. You're in printing. Cool. My dad and I are looking into setting up a small printing business in the not too distant future. Should be a good venture.
  6. First I've heard of them. I'm a bit shocked actually. Sounds dodgy. I've been on SDU and here on average four hours a day. I've got too much spare time. It's ok though 'cause I've learnt a stack and hopefully will get to meet all you guys soon.
  7. You don't need one, right?
  8. I haven't heard of a PS3. A bit too soon to release it wouldn't you think? Hey, can the X play DVD's? If not, my choice is the PS2
  9. That's a tough break mate. Look at it this way. You can still drive! In the last 40 days I've driven a total of 4 meters. From the carport to the end of the driveway. Oh, just some advice, do not be tempted to drive your Skyline.
  10. I wasn't around when the idea of an Aussie chapter of SDU was thrown around so I don't really know what happened there. However, this slight falling out some people had with SDU has served as a catalyst for the creation of an Aus Skylines club so some good has come of it in a twisted way.
  11. I've got the fuel pump, just might need bigger injectors. Tell me more about the T4. I've heard of some good hybrids too, in particular the T3/T4. This one bolts right on doesn't it?
  12. Impul 25T, Dude, I'd love to be a part of some affiliation with them. They have been through everything that we will be going through shortly & we can learn so much from their mistakes. Some people are just cut up about the whole forum thing at the moment but once it all blows over I'm hoping they will see the wisdom of working together. And yeah, we will definately be our own entity. Keeping this fact in mind I can draw two conclusions. 1. We need our own forum & www, for obvious reasons 2. Since we have our own forum and www, we might as well have our own identity At the end of the day mate I don't care if we call ourselves 'Skylines Seven Sins' as long as we have a club!
  13. URMINE, HUSTLR, Have you guys lost your license for speeding too? If so that makes 4 of us. Squizz, you two and myself. This is exactly why I want to get a club going. We can go to tracks to blow off steam instead of doing it on the roads. I know I won't be speeding again.
  14. No, the 2835 doesn't bolt on & I want the ext wastegate model so at the end of the day I'm getting -turbo, wastegate, head gasket, exhaust manifold and injectors. Very $. That's why I'm considering hi-flowing it. Like you said, it'll take it over the 200 mark and I'll save a stack. The 3035 goes well but the 3040 even better yet. The 3240 is too laggy, in fact most of the 30 series will produce too much lag. Oddly enough they are not that much more $ than the 2835. Boostmeister has a link in 'For Sale' to this Japanese web site that sells lots of goddies. They had the following prices for the HKS range. Ethan 33, pay attention. 2540 US$1537 2835 models range from US$1552 to $1709 3037 models range from US$1788 to $1905 3040 US$1866 Not a huge difference there. Just have to figure out which one best matches your needs. Picking out a turbo is harder than it initially seemed. I've been reading up on compressor maps but at the end of the day you won't really know how a particular turbo will function. With the level of mods that Skylines have, Joe might find that a 2835 was a perfect match while Bob lost power. And it's a pretty expensive exercise to be buying turbo after turbo until you find a good match. This is where a good mechanic can save you lots of headaches.
  15. I've never done it but it looks like it's one hell of a rush. I'd only try it in a controlled environment though.
  16. Yeah, no luck. I assumed that you have to set it to GMT 0 and when a new member joins and selects their timezone it will adjust the time accordingly.
  17. Not having much luck there URMINE.
  18. I don't know about the first one but the TD06 is comparable to the HKS2835 which is a decent unit.
  19. So far we have a few names floating about. Lets get them all down on this thread. Please only post if you have a serious suggestion. So far the best suggestion, I think, came from Shell... Skylines Australia SAU
  20. I wonder what the $ would be. Do you know?
