how bout a swap for a fully rebuilt 180sx, with all the usuals like susp, clutch, pump, cooler, filter etc and a cash adjustment. my 180 has good fuel economy , an doesnt take much to fill up *dangles keys* PM me

some biased opinions here coming from a 180sx owners perspective (please note I have driven a lot of 32 gts-ts, gtrs etc). The sr20det is potent and cheap to mod, extract 200kw to 250kw easily depending on budget. it is reliable if u dont keep it at redline and maintain it well, although a lot have been thrashed. rb20dets are nice, smooth engines, great note but dont feel like they have the torque or the low-mid range punch the sr20 has. The 180sx (with coilovers) handles a LOT better than any coilover equipped r32 I have ever driven. 32s just feel heavy and slow to turn in, the 180 is very responisve in its turn in, can enter corners MUCH faster etc etc etc. no bias here, just fact. as for looks etc, thats all personal opinion, both can look great. interior wise, each to their own. I truly believe the 180sx is a better car than the 32 (i dont like silvias)...but its all down to personal opinion. but i do say the 180 does handle better, can have the same power potential and is cheaper on the fuel.

O K !!! I found it hard to save 15k for my 180sx after workin since I was 15.5!!! Anyway... I would get an R34 GTR, check all the import magazines for prices. Going cheaper than before, but still expensive. An r34 will blow the clothes of any chick without even requiring a stereo! Good luck finding one, lucky bastard

I own a 180sx... I dont think it looks bad at all, I love the shape. Most 180sx dont stay stock for to long...ill be removing the wing and getting it sleek. ( I wish I could put 34GTR mags on tho), so what im trying to say is "EACH TO THEIR OWN" <<< one opinion is totally invalid for another person. Now, down to the discussion. I run 10psi, turbo back exhaust and a pod filter and nothing else. I have a mate with a 33 and I beat (catback exhaust at boosted). It all depends on drivers skill and the mods done to the car. But I have beaten other gtst before. But I have also had my ass whooped by em too Wait till I get my SAFC... ALSO: I think a jap spec s15 would win too...aus spec maybe not.
