i was in the gong (der i live here) but over near the lagoon. had a great day out. i see JETT quite often in the gong on a nice sunday/public holiday.

well the road that was being travelled on is one known locally to be very slippery in the wet, especially after so much dry weather then the sudden down pour. damage to the vehicle is quite extensive. the driver is just wanting to get off a possible neg driving charge due to the fact that the road is coated in oil/deisel from trucks and the like. barrier was not damaged much at all. police stated that "....mustn of been going very fast because the barrier is hardly damaged"

hmmm might look into this, only thing that might not help is that the road was wet. driving up a road that is notorious for being slipperey as there are many oil around a near round about. as soon as it rains the roads become redicuosly slippery. car slid into an armco barrier

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have ever tried to put the RTA (or what ever your local roads authority is) at fault for a motor vehicle accident? as in saying the roads were shitty/ potholes.....so on and so forth? any help/experience would be appreciated.

thanks pete for organising the day was sweet as, i found it a bit hard to keep speed up enough to get to second corner. but i got the second and third corner linked about 2 times still learning thanks to Mal and Dan for taking me out as well. was great to get to experience drift from the passenger seat. i must of left before the acco at the end. looks pretty rough! cant wait to see the footage from Dan's "rear wheel" camera!!!! cheers Jase

adrian, when you want to buy them, tell me how much you get quoted. then ill see if my cousin can do better. He rates them greatly (hes a mechanic/tyre fitter) and uses the fact that the Brutes use them as the control tyre as a bonus! only heard good things.

bah tyres are cheap. as for dust to hit. i dont think i came off once at wakefield (in the dry)......tosh reckons i wasnt trying hard enough in the wet was a different story :Oops: is it still on if it rains? i hope so!
