ok I'll try in order. There isn't much you can do without a CAMS licence on the tracks. To get a CAMS licence you need to be part of a CAMS affiliated club and then fill out some paperwork and pay some money. L2S is the most common and lets you do most of the non-door to door speed events. I.E. Track days etc. full clarification is on the CAMS website. I wont link it. SAU NSW is CAMS Affiliated. They have a section of the SAU forum just for members. SAU (the forum) in general, is not CAMS affiliated. And good on you for having intentions on heading to the track.

I agree, he had that last chance to squeeze through and probably get past 2 cars. It was a high risk, high reward move. Although in the after race interview he said he lost front traction due to lack of downforce. Something an amatuer would do in that situation.
